"Okay, so I already know a few things that I want," Stella grins excitedly. "Y'know, aside from those things we just like touched on with the others when I asked you to be my maid of honor."

"Okay-"

"So, I know I want-"

"Wait, hey," I stop her, making her frown. "Don't look at me like that. I know you're excited, I'm super excited for you. And I don't want to wave off what you want to talk about but there are a few things within wedding planning that need to take priority. Especially when it's being planned so quickly. Speaking of. Do we have an exact date yet?"

"November 30th."

"Okay," I nod, writing it down. "Which means we have roughly ten and a half months to put together a wedding."

She nods. "Yes."

"Okay," I sigh. "So, there's a few things we need to take care of first."

She grins. "Which would be?"

"First things first. We need a venue. I need you to look into venues that you like, compile a list for us to go see them and then you'll have to decide and book. The sooner on this the better. I'm not sure how many places you'll find that are available on such short notice."

"Short notice?" she laughs.

I blink a few times, nodding. "Yeah, Stells. Most people book a venue at least a year in advance. Me and Joe had so much trouble finding ours. We were just able to look into a bit more because we had more money to do so."

She nods. "Right. Okay."

"After that we need to compile and complete a guest list, finalizing that early could be a huge help and you wanna let everyone know sooner rather than later too. I'm assuming you want a photographer and videographer. You always said you did."

"Yes, I do. One hundred percent."

"Okay, well most people book with them pretty far out too so we'll have to see what we can find."

She nods. "I didn't realize things and people had to be booked so early."

I sigh, running my hand through my hair. "Neither did I when we decided to jumpstart plan our wedding and get married so quickly."

"Maybe that's why Hope's waiting two years to get married instead of a year like me."

I shrug. "Maybe. Or maybe it's because it's Hope, and we all know how she is."

She nods. "That's true too."

Anyway, do you know if you want a band or a DJ?"

"I was thinking about asking Mikey actually."

I raise my brows. "You want Mikey?"

She shrugs. "If he'd be available. I know him, I know he does good, and he's a friend," she pauses. "Which means he probably wouldn't enjoy the wedding so much since he'd be working."

I grin, laughing lightly. "He'd understand. And appreciate the thought."

She shakes her head. "No. Let's go with a different DJ. Someone we don't know but is still good."

"We'll have to research that."

She shrugs. "No biggie."

"Okay, then the other thing would be scheduling a wedding dress shopping appointment. Which brings me to a topic."

"A topic?" she asks, confused.

"I'm not gonna be available in person until like... April maybe even May."
