"Okay," I sigh to myself, adjusting the dress yet again in the mirror. I can't tell if it's just me that can notice because I know or if everyone else is going to notice too.

"You look gorgeous," Joe's voice breaks me from my concentration, making me look over to see him leaning against the doorframe, grinning.

"Thanks," I sigh, adjusting the dress yet again as I turn back to the mirror. "If you didn't know I was pregnant, would you know I'm pregnant?"

He raises his brows, a bit amused.

"I'm serious," I whine, letting out a distressed sigh as I continue to fiddle with the fabric, yanking at it here and there to try and "loosen" it up.

"Baby," he sighs, coming behind me and grabbing my hands, holding them as he wraps his arms around me. "I agreed to keep it a secret, alright? If this dress was going to give it away, I would've told you. You look stunning. Let yourself relax a bit, my love."

"I don't even know if I want to go," I sigh, licking my lips and turning to him. "Maybe I can just stay home. You take the girls and come back for me later."

"And what is everyone going to say when I show up without my wife?" he asks, raising a brow.

"Just tell them I'm not feeling well or something."

"My love," he says, giving me a pointed look. "Your family is going to be there too."

I sigh. "I know."

"You look amazing, just maybe keep your distance and we'll tell them you're not feeling well anyway. That way no one can feel the bump trying to hug you. We're already going to be late and we can leave early to sell the whole sick thing and keep your anxiety under control. Yeah?"

I sigh, nodding. "Yeah. Okay."

"Alright," he says, kissing my head. "Let's go."

"Are the girls dressed?"

"Yes, my love, the girls are dressed."

"Their hair-"

"Is all done," Jess grins as we enter the living room. "Don't worry, Addie, we got you."

"Yeah, girl, chill," Londyn smiles. "Why are you so stressed?"

"No reason," I sigh. "I'm fine. Girls, you ready?"

"Mommy, I want up!" Willa says, reaching up for me.

"Baby, mommy cannot hold you right now, my back hurts, okay? Daddy can hold you though, maybe, if you ask really nice."

"Daddy, I want up please!" Willa giggles, reaching for him.

"Come on, princess," he grins, picking her up and kissing her cheek.

"I'll grab Del," Jess says, picking her up.

"You two look beautiful!" I tell them, forcing a grin as we leave the house, ready to take on another Thanksgiving.

I spend the majority of the ride tapping my fingers on my knee, despite Joe reaching over and grabbing my hand to stop me. The girls sit in the back, watching their tablets with their headphones while Jessica and Londyn ride in the other car with Jacob.

"Baby," Joe says, sighing heavily.

"Hm?" I hum, blinking a few times as I turn to him.

"Stop," he says, squeezing my fingers gently.

I gulp, nodding. I have to admit, he lasted longer without stopping me than I thought he would. We only have a half hour left of our drive... I was sure he would've said something to try and stop me a while ago.
