"Hey Jess!" I call, glancing at the girls coloring their pictures.
"Mommy?" Willa asks.
"Yes, baby?" I ask.
"Can we listen to daddy?"
"Alexa, play Jonas Brothers."
"Jonas Brothers from Spotify," she answers, Only Human beginning to play a few seconds later.
"Thank you!" she cheers.
"You're welcome, baby," I tell her, sighing.
"Hey, what's up?" Jess asks, walking out from her room.
"Can you keep an eye on them? You and Londyn need to pack small bags. We're gonna go surprise the girls and J-O-E for the last two shows."
She nods. "Yeah, I'll have Londyn sit with them while I pack and then we'll switch."
"Okay, I'm gonna go pack for the three of us."
"Gotcha," she nods as I walk away, going into the bedroom and grabbing the medium suitcase out for myself, packing quite a few outfits, including a few going out outfits, comfy outfits, pajamas, shoes, jewelry and so on. Being out of the country makes picking what to pack a little trickier if I'm honest... but we make it work. I then pack up the toiletries, placing them on the top in the suitcase before grabbing my small bookbag, packing my iPad, planner, journal, pens, headphones, and portable charger with cords for all three tablets, setting it on the suitcase by the bedroom door.
Sighing to myself, I move into Willa's room, reaching into her closet and grabbing her suitcase out, laying it on the floor and starting to gather her outfits, picking a couple that I know Del has matches to and then a few that I know she'll love to wear by herself, though the weather in Prague and Poland should be in the fifties at the peak of the day... I need to make sure their outfits going to make them cold. Making sure to pack her shoes and accessories I know she won't live without, I go to the bathroom, taking the time to pack both of their toiletry items before putting them in Willa's suitcase with all of the clothes.
Moving to Delphine's room, I do the same thing, taking down her suitcase, gathering her items and placing them neatly in the suitcase, grateful to Jess and Londyn for keeping the girls from interrupting me.
Okay, one more thing to do before I can get myself and the girls ready and out the door.
Grabbing both of their travel backpacks, I place both of their tablets inside with their headphones, a coloring book, activity book, crayons, and a couple of travel puzzles. I zip them both up before heading to the bedroom and dressing in a pair of my most comfortable jeans, a tee, and a hoodie over top, sliding on a pair of socks and exiting into the living room, pulling all three suitcases behind me.
"Okay, are you guys packed or do you need more time?"
"Nope, we're good," Jess grins.
"Okay, cool. Girls, go put your shoes on please."
"Where are we going, mommy?" Willa asks as Delphine runs to grab her shoes.
"We're going on a plane, baby. We are going to go see Uncle Liam and Ms. Jaclyn and then we're gonna go somewhere else."
"Okay!" She giggles, running over to grab her shoes.
"We're going to Texas?" Londyn asks, her brows furrowing.
I nod. "Yeah, I've gotta stop and talk to William."
She gives me a look. "You do?"
I nod again, avoiding eye contact. "Yes."
