Just why?
He walked away, away, but I kept standing there with tears running down my eyes. My legs have turned into jello. I kept standing there, there, taking deep breaths. A sob left my mouth. I lifted my hand and slowly wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. I stayed on my weak legs. My lips were swollen, swollen, and my nose was ready for crying.
“Go to hell. I don't care.” I heard Isabella's mad voice, voice, and it made me wipe my new tears with the back of my hands.
“Isabella,” next I heard Daniel's voice equally. They must be fighting over something lame again. They have been arguing like this from the day I met them. Isabella stomped out of the door beside me. I decided to quit, quit, not wanting her to see me in this state. I took a deep breath and swallowed hard while standing there quietly. I saw Daniel walking inside from the same door. Stomping behind her
He grabbed her wrist before she could walk away from there. He turned her around in one swift move. It felt like her front clashed with his chest. He took hold of her back, making her look at him. He was holding the back of her head in a firm grip, grip, not letting her pull away. Their faces were only a few inches away from each other.
“I said no, no,” he said sternly. Sternly. I'm his deep voice, a voice which even sent sent a shiver down down his spine. I have never seen him talk in this tone before. Isabella's jaw clenched when he said that.
“Fuck off,” she said with an equally stubbornnessstubbornness in her every word. I covered my mouth to muffle my gasp. She put both her hands on his chest and pushed him away.
“Don't ever fucking touch me again, again,” she said. Said. I'm of the same tone. His nose flared and his jaw clenched in anger. She turned around and walked away. He looked up as if mustering his last bit of patience. He breathed and followed her. I kept standing there like a statue. What did I just witness now? I just couldn't believe my eyes. What's going on between them? I blink my eyes and wimpy, wimpy face. I should not have kept standing here. I decided to walk away. I went back to the party. I found him at the bar, nursing a drink. How eyes cold blue eyes immediately with mine. He gulped the amber liquid, liquid, looking straight into my eyes. A bubble of anger rose inside me. I looked away, away, not wanting to look at him anymore. I saw Isabella coming in my way when she noticed me.
“Where were you? I have been searching for you. Sophia told me you were searching for me too, too,” she said, making me remember just what happened to me when I was searching for her. So many things flashed in front of my eyes. My chest heaved, heaved, and an exasperating breath left my mouth. I want to get it.
“I was then going to use the washroom,” I told her with a small smile, not letting her know what I had just seen. Seen.
“We should leave now. All the guests have also started to leave, leave,” she said whilst looking at me. My eyes involuntarily move all over the room. I found Daniel standing at the end of the bar with a drink too. He was throwing daggers in Isabella's way, but she didn't even batten her eyes on his way.
“Grace” Isabella took my name when she saw I was drifting away in my thoughts.
“Yes, come, come, let's go,” I said, agreeing with her. She signaled Sophia, and she understood it immediately. She nodded her head, getting the signal. She walked away to do the things Isabella had told her. Isabella held my hand, and we walked to get Sage. She was nowhere in the room.
“Where did my brother take her?” she muttered in annoyance. She once again held my hand and then took me to the corridor, which was upstairs.
“I knew he would take me here. He would love to be here when we were kids,” she said with a cunning smile on her face. My eyes widen when I see how close they are standing. My face flushed red. It looked like they were kissing from where I was standing.
"Isabella, let's give them some time. We will come after some time,” I said, trying to convince her.
“No! I'm going to make him suffer till they get married,” she said with a cunning smile on her face, pulling me with her to him.
"I'm taking you to my room, toning by hook or crook," he declared while colliding his noses. He was about to kiss her. Why was I wistnew everyone like that tonight? My face flushed even more. But I remembered what he did with Sage. The blackmail is in return. He deserves to suffer a little. I exhaled deeply.
"That won't be happening until you say I do. For today, you have to settle for a cold shower," I said with a cunning smile on my face. It made Sage push Xanthus away from him. A groan of irritation left his mouth when she was pulled out of his hold. It felt like we had planned out our entry perfectly.
"You thought you would be successful in sneaking her out from under our noses again. Not happening this time," Isabella said with a wicked grin on her face.
"Let's go, Sage; we have a long, fun night ahead," Isabela said while pulling her away with her.
"Where are you taking her?" I heard the blooming, anxious voice of the Xanthus. I smirked at him wickedly while giving him a flying kiss.
"You will know it when I send you the picture," Isabella said, making his jaw clench in anger. We all walked down, getting ready to leave.
“Did you see his face?” Isabella said, and they bumped her shoulder with Sage. She was flushing red. We were on our way out when I bumped into something hard.
"Ouch,” I whispered a little and rubbed my forehead. I glared at him and decided to walk away when he grabbed my hand.
“Where are you going?” he asked in a strenuous tone. I yanked my hand and glared at him.
“It's none of your business,” I said sternly, grabbing Sage's hand. I could feel his burning, angry gaze on my back. I ignored him like he was ignoring me.
Tonight, I'm only going to enjoy it without worrying about tomorrow.
