Sometimes, your intuition is right, but you are too naive to believe it.
I kept looking at him with a small smile on my face. That uneasy feeling kept nagging at me but I decided to push it away. I can't let that feeling ruin my present. I just can't, when I was finding myself smiling after years. After years of those dark clouds gliding in my life. I pushed all those intensive thoughts away. I was still amazed after looking at the arrangement he had made. I slowly put my hands on his while still looking around.
“You did all this” I asked, still finding it hard to believe even though it was in front of me. I averted my eyes from the fairy lights and looked at him.
“Hmm,” he hummed softly while looking at me. His eyes glint looking at my surprised face. My lips stretched wide while looking at him.
“Give me five minutes. I will change into something nice,” I said in my eager voice. I tried to pull my hand out of his hold but he held it firmly. I raised my brow when he didn't let go of my hand.
“No need, let's eat dinner,” He said while looking into my eyes. He was all dressed and I was still nighty. I was about to refuse when he once again opened his mouth.
“You look perfect, doll. Like you do always” he said, maybe after seeing a slight insecurity in my orbs. I looked back in his cold blue eyes which didn't look cold anymore. Instead, they looked honest to me. Will he find me beautiful even if I'm wearing rags?
“Now let's go. The food is getting cold,” he said and then pulled me to a small table where he had made all the arrangements for us. He pulled the chair for me to sit and took the seat in front of me.
“What's for dinner?” I asked excitedly. My stomach grumbled because I didn't eat much at lunch. My eyes glinted in happiness when he removed the lid, unravelling the dish.
“Fried chicken with vegetable rice,” I said with a huge smile on my face. It was my comfort food and he knew it. He often made it for me when–. My eyes widened even more in realisation.
“You cooked dinner for us?” I asked when he had already started to serve a very big portion on my plate.
“Hmm,” he hummed once again while serving me. My heart fluttered. It was a small gesture but it had blown me away. My hands moved on their own. I cupped his face making him look at me. I saw how his brows furrowed in slight confusion when I did that. I got slightly up from my seat and pressed my lips on his. I gave a loud smooch on his full lips, getting him off guard. I saw how his eyes widened when I did that. I smirked on his lips. I loved it when he was surprised.
“Thank you” I whispered on his full lips before slumping back in my chair. I happily started to eat my food because I couldn’t control it anymore. The fried chicken tasted the same as when I ate it the first time. It made me moan when the mild flavours burst into my mouth. I felt his eyes on me and it made me look up. He was still sitting like a statue while looking at me. I blinked my eyes looking at him.
“Aren't you eating?” I asked with slightly furrowed brows. I also stopped chewing my food and looking at him. He cleared his throat and started eating, making me smile. I enjoyed the dinner so much. After eating I help in cleaning the table. I wanted to clean the plates, but he didn't let me, saying the house help would do it. He pulled me back into the room and asked me to wait there. I slumped on the bed with a full belly. Erick came back into a room with a big bowl of ice cream in his hand. My eyes lit up in excitement. I sat up immediately. He chuckled looking at me. He had already discarded his suit jacket, and a few buttons of his shirt were undone, giving me a view of his defined chest. For me, he looked more like a dessert to me. I licked my lips before biting on my lower lip slightly.
“I didn't get your favourite one, so I bought a chocolate gelato,” he said, pulling me out of my dirty thoughts. I hummed while still nibbling on my lower lip. I took a spoonful and put it in my mouth. It melted in my mouth, making me moan.
“I have never had it before. It's so good" I said while going for one more bite. His cold blue eyes kept looking at me while I kept moaning on each bite.
“Why don't you try some. It's really good," I said and scooped some of it into my spoon before bringing it to his mouth. He looked at the spoon hovering over his mouth, and then he averted back to me. He opened his mouth and ate it while looking straight into my eyes. My breath hitched when he did that. I could see how all the dirty thoughts were dancing in his eyes. I was not the only one with those thoughts. All my emotions started to bubble in the base of my throat. I tried to pull my hand back when he was done, but before I could, he held it in a firm grip. He darted out his tongue and licked the spoon clean while looking straight into my heart. My heart started to beat fast. The air in the room sizzles with needs. He slowly moved his face forward bringing it to my level. My heart thumps loudly against my rib cage. His lips were only an inch away from mine. His warm breath fanned my lips, making me curl my toes and dig them into a soft mattress. I kept looking at him with wide stunned eyes. He slowly darted his tongue and licked my lower lip.
“Hmmm,” he hummed in delight, sending ripples of electrifying sensation all over my body. My whole body shivered when he said that.
“You taste sweeter than this gelato”
