If I murder him, don't blame me.

I got down and grabbed all my things I had come to grab in the bathroom. I was still fuming so much in anger. I glared at my reflection in the mirror. My lips were swollen, and a red mark was trying to peek out from the corner of the neckline of my top. I rubbed my swollen lips to make his touch go away, but it didn't help me much. I was never able to make his touch go away. It felt like his lips were still on mine, sucking them as if drawing the sweetest honey out of them. I felt even more frustration. I pulled my neck line a little up so it would hide that angry red mark on my chest. I grabbed the bag of my toiletries and walked out to find him talking with Sabrina. I dumped it into the bag I had prepared for my stay.

“You are ready,” Subrina asked me when she saw me zipping my bag.

“Yes, let's go,” I said, getting my bag once I was done zipping. She smiled happily and ran to me to take my bag.

“Give it to me, and I will carry it,” she said happily while taking hold of the bag.

“No need. I will carry it,” I said because it was a little heavy with all my stuff. I said getting it out of her hold. She was about to protest when he walked towards us and took hold of my bag.

“I will carry that for you,” he said, looking at Sabrina, and it made her smile.

“You are the best,” she said with a huge smile on her face while hugging him from the side. I rolled my eyes at him while working my arms around my chest. He smirked, looking at my annoyed face.

“Let's go,” he said to Sabrina, and she nodded her head. They started walking ahead of me. I kept glaring at his back. I was planning his murder when they stopped walking. Sabrina turned her head to look at me.

“Grace, why are you still standing there? Let's go,” Sabrina said while looking at me. I had no choice but to follow him. I exhaled and decided to follow them because I had no other choice. We all went down to where Lilly was waiting for us. I said this to Fergus before walking out of the house.

“Have a safe journey, madam,” he said in his monotonous voice, without any expression on his face. Lilly took the front seat beside the driver, and Sabrina hopped behind, asking me to come inside the car. I took hold of my bag, trying to get it from him, but he was not letting it go.

“What are you doing?” I said in annoyance.

“They are waiting for me,” I said once again in annoyance. He smiled in amusement, looking at my irritated face. Instead of letting go of my bag, he pulled me to his hard chest. His actions caught me off-guard. He let go of my bag and wrapped his one hand around my waist, and with the other, he cupped my face. I could feel the eyes of Lily and Sabrina on me.

“What are you doing? They are watching us,” I said, trying to pull away from him. I didn't like when he touched me seamlessly in front of everyone.

“I said.” Before I could complete my sentence, he pressed his lips on mine. My eyes widened even more when he did that. He kept coupling my face, not letting me move my face back. His lips kept slowly moving on mine as if he were savouring the taste. I heard Sabrina giggling, and it made me come out of my daze. I blinked my eyes and moved my face. I was able to create only a two-inch distance between our faces. His most touching mine and breaths mingle with each other.

“Just because I'm letting you go to your father's house, don't think you have a chance to run away. Remember, at the end of the day, you have no choice but to return to my arms'' he said sternly over my lips. He was indirectly treating me.

“Don't you dare to forget that, my doll,” he whispered over my lip with an evil smirk on the corner of his lips. He let go of me and stepped back, making distance between us. My body immediately missed the warmth of his body, but my mind was burning in fury.

"Grace, let's go." Sabrina giggled, asking me to sit in the car.

“Fuck you,” I mouth, looking directly into his cold blue eyes. His cold blue eyes glinted in amusement, but I averted my eyes and sat in the car.

“Bye, Erick.” Sabrina waved at him when the driver started to drive.

“Erick loves you so much. He can't leave without you for a day,” Sabrina said dreamily. Lilly didn't say anything, knowing very well what the situation was.

“Poor him. I don't know how he will manage until the day of your engagement,” Sabrina said in a sad tone while wrapping her hands around my arm. She had sympathy for that devil. The only person she should feel like that should be me. For her, his action must seem out of the affection and undying love he has for me, but only if she knew the truth. Only if she knew his real face. He was threatening me instead of showing me his affection. For her, life is still a fairy tale. It was not her fault because her life has always been like that. I just wish she never has to go through the things I went through. I just pray to God that she finds her the best man and not the devil like Erick. I pray that the innocent smile always stays on her lips. I pray every day to be free of this suffering, but I don't know if my prayers will ever be answered. I have been doing it for so long. I want to lose my hope, but the hope of being free one day forces me to pray. The burden is getting heavier and heavier with each passing day. My shoulders slumped in tiredness, and I exhaled deeply.

One can only pray.
