I have a feeling that nothing is fine.
He averted his cold blue eyes from me and walked away with a clenched jaw. I saw his nose flare when he saw Daniel helping me wear my heels. I don't get it. What is his problem? He went back, ignoring me. If he keeps ignoring me, then I will do the same thing. I don't care if he doesn't want to talk to me. I have no business with him. Let him behave however he wants. I will do what I want. My nose fared and my jaw clenched in determination. Grace, stop thinking about him now. You have more important things to be worried about. Let's concentrate on Sage's bachelorette party. It is the most important thing now. My inner voice said this while rolling her eyes. She is right. The party is almost over now, and we need to hurry for her bachelor's party. I walked to the dance floor to find Isabella, but she was nowhere to be seen. Where did she go? She was dancing here with everyone a minute ago. I once again moved my eyes to the dance floor to see if I had missed her, but she was not there.
“I don't know where this girl disappeared in just a few minutes,” I muttered under my breath. I saw Sophia, Sage's best friend, dancing with Logan.
“Sophia, did you see Isabella?” I asked her a little loudly over the loud music playing on the speakers.
"What?” she asked, not getting it. She tucked her hair behind her ear and moved her ear forward so I could speak in it. The music had suddenly turned a little louder.
“Did you see Isabella?” I asked her again, this time speaking loudly in her ear. She nodded her head. I moved my ear forward so she could tell me.
“I saw her a few minutes ago with Daniel. They went on that way,” she told me loudly over the music, pointing in the direction they went. I nodded my head.
“Be ready; we are leaving soon,” I told her, and she gave me a thumbs up with a nod. I need to get Isabella first because she is the one who has made all the arrangements. I walked in the direction Sophia pointed. She has pointed at the garden area. I walked while grabbing my grandmother so I wouldn't trip and fall. I had just reached the end when my wrist was grabbed and I was pinned to the wall. His intoxicating scent engulfed me. Even before I could, as she was doing, He grabbed my face in his big hand. He squished my cheeks, making my lips pucker. He slammed his lips on mine. My eyes widened when he did that. My fingers curled and formed a fist. He started to kiss me possessively. Very possessively, as if trying to tell me something very important. He kissed me hard and fast. My mind was still in shock at his sudden appearance like that. He was ignoring me a few minutes ago as if I were nothing to him. As if we just didn't get engaged a few days ago, and now he was here kissing me like his life depended on me. He was showing his possessiveness, as I'm the most precious thing that only belongs to him. I was fed up with his bipolar attitude. I lifted my fisted hands and kept them on his chest to push him away, but he did not even budge a millisecond away from me.
"Hmmm.” I tried to protest, but he muffled all my protest with his cunning mouth. My balled hands bet on his chest. He was not even giving me a break to breathe. He took hold of my balled fist and pinned it above my head. He took my other hand and pinned it behind my back. The small distance my hands were keeping between our bodies was cut down. He moved even more forward. Now his chest was smashing into mine. He bit hard on my lower lip and sucked it hard. My chest was filled with many sensations when he did that. I felt a shiver travel through my whole body when he did that. My lungs started to run out of oxygen. If he doesn't move his mouth, I am sure I will faint. He still didn't stop kissing me like the possessive bastard he is.
He let go of my mouth when I started to see white and black dots in front of my eyes. I opened my mouth and took huge, big gulps of air, filling my burning lungs. I was a breathless mess. He, too, took a few deep breaths. His cold blue eyes remained fixed on me while he took normal breaths, and here I was hungry, filling my lungs. I glared at him while still breathing heavily. I'm sure my whole face is flushing. I tried to get my hands out of his hold, but he made his hold tight on my wrist and smashed our bodies more closely as if it were possible. His nose flared once again, and his jaw clenched before I could read his eyes. He moved his face forward and slammed his lips once again over mine. My eyes widened again when he did it. I was not even done filling my lungs. He took advantage of my open mouth and invaded his tongue inside.
"Hmm,” I protested once again, but it was too late. His mouth once again muffled my protest. His tongue started to taste in every corner of my mouth. He was again kissing me like a mad, possessive man. I tasted whisky on his tongue when he explored my mouth. It was slow, making me feel drunk. The more he deepened the kiss, the more I started to feel intoxicated. My legs were slowly turning into jelly. I just don't get what was going on in his head. Angry tears started to form in my eyes. He let go of my lips. Once again my lips parted to take a deep breath. He let go of me and moved away, making a one-hand distance between us. As if the nearness between us was burning him. If I had no support for the wall I would have fallen. His angry cold blue eyes moved all over my face. My whole face was flushing red. Chest rising and falling with every heavy breath. His jaw clenched and nose flared in anger. Angry tears ran down my left eye when he looked at me like that. His jaw clenched even more when he saw my tears. He turned around and walked away. My eyes remained fixed on his retreating.
Why is this man making me go insane with his unpredictable actions?
Why was he kissing me like a mad possessive man if he was going back to ignore me more?
Just why?
