PLOT RECONSTRUCTION!!
The previously published chapters of the vampire arc have been temporally drafted so I can put the angel arc first for a better flow of events. Trust me, this has taken a LOT of thought, and it will make the most sense for the plot and character development. Stay tuned for new chapters!
And don't worry about getting confused with the vampire arc, it will come right after this arc anyway so hopefully won't be too disorientating. >o<

Moonlight filtered through the tall windows, casting silver streaks across the hardwood floor. Shadow Moon had gathered in the living room, though a hush hung in the air like mist before a storm.
Hiro and Leo had already gone to bed, along with Haru who had been sulking in his room for most the day. Kyou was left doing some quiet chores in the kitchen, though there wasn't much to clean. Perhaps he just wasn't ready for bed and wanted to keep distracted.
Those who remained sat in a quiet tension, the weight of tomorrow dragging their hearts to the floor.
Echo and Atomu shared one end of the sofa, their backs to the window as moonlight painted them in soft contrast. Galaxy leaned over them, arms resting on the back of the sofa. Yurio perched on the armrest beside them, hunched with crossed arms. Aki leaned nearby, his expression unreadable. Across from them sat Luna and Yukine, facing the group with unease hanging over their shoulders like fog.
No one spoke. They all knew what needed to be said—but silence offered a fragile shelter from reality.
Finally, Echo broke it.
"So... we're really going to the angels tomorrow?" Her voice was steady, but low.
"It's not really a choice. Either way, we have to fight for Yukine to stay here," Yurio interjected. He crossed his arms, his eyes darting to Yukine, then away, unable to linger for long.
"But what do we risk if we do go up there?" Yukine asked, his voice soft, almost hesitant. He sat stiffly, his hands gripping the edge of the sofa. The fear in his voice wasn't loud, but it echoed all the same.
"Well, the way I see it is like a visual novel!" Atomu declared, his sudden energy breaking through the sombre mood. The others turned to him, some with confusion, others with irritation.
"A what?" Echo muttered in confusion.
"Right now, we have two choices that are gonna head to different endings!" He began.
"Either we go to the angel world to fight for Yukine to stay... or we do nothing. If we go... our good ending would be they agree Yukine can stay, right?" Atomu straightened up, gesturing dramatically with his hands.
"And the bad ending?" Yurio asked, his scepticism apparent.
Atomu's grin faded. He lowered his hands.
"They disagree, and we have to fight," Atomu answered, voice dropping.
"But if we do nothing... best case, the angels don't realise Yukines here, and everything stays the same for a while. And worst... they do realise, and see it as an act of rebellion from Akira..." he finished.
Yukine's shoulders hunched as if the weight of his own existence pressed down on him.
"In that case, they'd definitely declare war on the demons," he said quietly, his expression darkening.
Yurio leaned forward, his expression dark.
"Plus, if we don't tell them about the vampire's chemical, we could all end up eradicated," Yurio added grimly, his gaze flickering to the others for a moment before falling back to the floor.
