"Right Miss Margo Elizabeth Brown, we are going on a date. It's been too long." Noah grins at me casually leaning against the kitchen island as I pad towards him.
"We haven't gone on one of those for a while." I reply wrapping my arms lazily around his waist.
"I know. Which is exactly why I'm taking you out. You, me, food that doesn't make you nauseous. No interruptions just us." Noah tells me.
"Hmmm, you're being very romantic. Should I be suspicious?" I ask, earning a low raspy chuckle from him.
"Oh absolutely, but in a good way. C'mon go get ready you've got about half an hour. No stalling." His lips brush mine as he whispers.
"I need more than half an hour." I smile against his lips. "Please." I whisper, and he groans playfully pressing his mouth softly against mine once more.
"Fine. Forty five minutes but only because you're carrying my child." Noah smirks and I press one more quick kiss on his jaw before slipping out of his arms.
"Thank you. So very generous." I smugly reply swiping the untouched mug of coffee that he made for me.
He watches me with a lazy smile as I take a sip, it's rich and creamy, warming as it slides down my throat settling in my stomach.
"The best." I grin at him.
"Perfect balance." He grins back.
"For now, Beans unpredictable."
"True, they're a diva already." Noah chuckles and I shake my head at him.
"Bound to be when you're their Dad." I wink at him.
"Hey, if they have my charm too we're in real big trouble."
"God you're insufferable." I reply not meaning it at all.
"You love it."
"Unfortunately."
"Mar we made a whole person together. You're stuck with insufferable for a long ass time." Noah's smile grows impossibly wide flashing his perfect teeth as he watches my face soften despite my eye roll.
"Lucky me." I reply sarcastically, taking a sip of coffee hiding my smile because the truth is I do love it. All of it. All of him.
"Lucky us. Now go get ready you've wasted at least two whole precious minutes talking to me. So obsessed." He smirks.
"I wouldn't go that far Noah. Don't flatter yourself." I tease hearing him laugh as I make my way past him, coffee in hand, his eyes following me. Always on me.
I charge for our wardrobe tugging it open running my hand over the rail. A mix of silk, mesh and cotton brushes my fingers and I finally land on a black multi layered mesh mini dress pulling it free with a smile. I pair it with a white lace long sleeve beneath, a soft contrast but still enough that makes me feel like myself. I quickly curl my hair each one falling perfectly into place and swiftly apply my make up, a clean black wing, sharp and cutting, finishing with a little lip gloss.
"Don't over think it Mar, you could wear sweats and I'd still stare at you all night long desperately waiting to get home so I can take it all off." Noah calls from down stairs.
I shake my head biting back a grin as I glance at my reflection one last time smoothing down my dress. My fingers trace the hem as I look at myself in the mirror wondering if my stomach looks any different.
I inhale and skip down the stairs where Noah waits for me at the bottom. As soon as his eyes land on me he looks hypnotised, his eyes drag over me, slowly, deliberately taking me in like he's memorising every inch of me.
