"I feel like we're adding more and more to our list before she gets here." Noah chuckles flipping an egg in the pan with way too much ease.

"I know but we really do have to get these last couple of things for her room and actually put it all together... at least the paintings done and it's just the assembling of shit." I grumble back feeling her kick as if she's part of the conversation.

"I know baby. Read through the list again, tell me what we gotta get." He replies without turning around, sliding the egg out the pan onto a plate.

I let out a huff scanning over the list. The more I look the more uncertain I am about everything we have so far.

"Well realistically all we've got is a fuck ton of left over paint and a half built rocking chair." I mutter as bean gives me a solid kick to the ribs, hard and sharp making me wince.

"You okay?" Noah's head snaps around, concern etched all over his face.

"She just kicked me in the fucking ribs." I moan rubbing my side trying to play it off.

"Damn, she's got accuracy now." Noah winks plating up his own breakfast then taking a seat next to me at the table.

"That she does." I laugh shaking my head with a smile and he leans in putting his palm to my swollen belly.

"Hey, go easy on your momma." He says quietly talking to my stomach. "Okay baby, hand me that list." Noah says dramatically holding out his hand.

"I just want it all done before we go to Richmond. That gives us like two... three weeks?"  I say, handing him the list, trying not to sound demanding even though the urge to nest is getting harder and harder to ignore.

Noah scans over the screen, brows furrowed as his eyes move down slowly clearly taking in each item. He looks weirdly serious about it suddenly, like seeing it all written down makes it much more real.

"Ight, some of the stuff on this list we've already ordered right?" He says eventually and I nod immediately.

"Yeah, but the order isn't arrived yet and it's making me itchy." I mutter distracting myself by poking at my eggs.

"Okay, that's fair. The curtains are on the way though, the shelves are in the hallway, I just gotta put them up. We already bought the rocking chair-"

"That's half built." I grumble interrupting him.

"A chair has been purchased non the less." He smirks and I can't help but laugh. "So we just gotta get the crib, a lamp, a baby monitor, changing mat then formula and nappies right?"

"It's so overwhelming... you missed a couple things too." I correct him feeling my anxiety take over.

"Do you wanna just go get it all now? Get it all done and out the way in the next couple days?"

"Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying." I reply too quickly, too honestly making him chuckle and shake his head, not in disagreement but definitely amusement.

"Okay baby girl, we'll do exactly that." He winks handing me back my phone.

"You know exactly how to handle me and it's honestly a little annoying."

"Oh Mar, that's because I can see that deep down you're spiralling and I will do anything to avoid it." He says taking my hand in his, rubbing his thumb over my knuckles. "We'll go after breakfast. Get the rest of the stuff and make a start on it when we get back, okay?"

"Sounds perfect. Thank you." I say gently, meaning it knowing that a plans in place.

"You don't need to thank me Mar." Noah squeezes my hand, his eyes searching mine. "This is my stuff too, remember? We're in it together. Besides, if getting a baby monitor and building furniture stops you stress-cleaning the entire house at midnight again, I'd say it's a solid investment." He grins and suddenly everything doesn't feel so heavy.
