"Y/N, we need you over here!" The sound of Clint's voice in your ear as you did your best to protect Natasha was more aggravating than ever, considering he was on the other side of the battlefield, while you were trying to keep Steve from dying, as well as Natasha from being blasted from a spray of bullets hitting your way.

The dark green force field around the three of you was the only thing keeping your heart beating, no matter the strength that Steve was using to push you forward to behind the trees. The fight was not only against robots, but, somehow, trained to go after those who were scientifically modified. Bruce was getting the most of it, even as lasers shot at you and Steve.

"I'm busy!" Shouting back did absolutely nothing to stop the circle forming around you, looking around in fear before finally deciding to push the magnetic field. The green aura shot out quickly, splitting at least ten of the bots in half while the rest combusted in the air.

"Should've done that a long time ago." Steve was out of breath, kneeling on one leg before he was blocking more beams from the endless supply.

Breathing heavily, you lock eyes with the big mountain where the biggest beam was coming through. No one was free enough to stop or destroy it, not even Tony as he took the sky. This was starting to look like too much work for you, even as someone who could destroy anything in your path from ten feet away. But, it was a work in progress.

"Y/N!" Clint's cry for help rang in your ear again, and you were running to the base with Steve right beside you, his pace much faster than yours as he threw his shield, allowing you to take it before it could come back and throw it behind you without even touching it with your hand.

"Barton, where are you?" Sure, you could've taken the time to try and find him with your mind, but it would've taken too long to concentrate, and with the amount of robots trying to kill you, no one had the time to die on your watch, or even watch your back. "I need–give exact coordinates!" And just as you turned at the sound of Natasha grunting behind you, you were hit with the shield, body flying past the trees and off the hill to the part where Tony was just landing at.

"Need a hand?" His smirk wasn't worth mentioning as your ribs ached, lasers flying into the sky as Thor came crashing down, two robots falling apart before he was at your side. "Well, if it isn't the king of lightning."

"Human-ling," Thor greets, ignoring Stark while picking up the shield you just so happened to bring down with you. "Clint is better." You nod and turn back to Stark, who started mumbling about a secret door before you were putting up a shield for the three of you, the door opening behind a wall of green. "Why isn't she on the team again?" The alien asks, clapping a hand on the back of your shoulder. "She's a very big help."

"I'm much too smart for you guys, even you, Lightning rod." Tapping him on the bicep, you release the shield and allow the three of you to enter. There wasn't much light, but with a little glow to your hands, the entire base was empty. The green lumens glared against outdated computers that were shot at and blown out, the smoke still emitting from them all. "Someone was here recently."
