Super long chapter, all brand new!!! I may split this into two once I write more...
The next morning, Shadow Moon woke up, not feeling fully prepared at what was to come.
Luna curled up in bed as the sun lit up her face.
"Mmm!" she groaned, grabbing a pillow and covering her face with it.
Eventually, she sighed, knowing she had to face the day.
She rolled out of bed, and got ready for a day of training. She tied her hair up, and then saw the bite mark on her neck again.
"Uh," she gasped with discomfort.
She pulled some hair forward, adjusting her bun.
Meanwhile, Yurio was up early, making breakfast for Leo, Atomu, and Hiro.
"Hey, can I train with you today, Yurio?" Atomu asked as he gobbled up some toast and eggs.
"If you can promise not to accidently get knocked out by our attacks, sure," Yurio returned.
"Oh, fear not, no one is stronger then King Hiro, The Great and Mighty Protector of The World!!" Hiro bounced up, holding up the spoon from his cereal.
"Sit down," Leo said with narrow eyes, pulling on Hiro's trousers.
"To be fair, he has gotten better at fighting. Probably from playing with Leo and Atomu all the time," Aki strolled in.
"Hey, can I get some toast too, Yurio?" he added, seeing Yurio put two eggs on two more pieces of toast.
"I'm sure you can work a toaster," he returned, putting the plate he had prepared in front of Leo.
"This is great, Yurio! You should make breakfast more often!" Atomu cheered with yoke on his cheek.
"Is this how Echo feels?" Yurio asked himself, sat looking at the children before him.
"Where is Echo?" Aki wondered, putting some bread in the toaster.
"She's been in the library all morning trying to find anything on angels, vampires, or dangerous chemicals," Atomu explained.
"Maybe you should help her since its your dad who wrote all those books, huh?" Yurio mentioned bitterly.
"Errr... y-yeah... well, it's not like I haven't looked before," Aki returned awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh, Yachel," Yurio suddenly saw Yachel passing in the hallway.
He jolted in place as if not wanting to be seen.
"Echo was looking for you. She's in the library," Yurio mentioned.
"She's looking for me?" he returned nervously as if fearing for his very life.
"Err... yeah. You know the most about the angel world. She wants your help making a plan," Yurio explained.
"Oh, right! A plan! For the angel world! Which we're all going to... ah ha! Of course!" Yachel spoke awkwardly with a clenching smile before snapping around to the library door.
"Angel world... Sapphire... save Yukine... avoid war...." Yachel muttered to himself as he opened the door, head spinning.
As he opened it, he saw Echo searching for books with the ghost, Casper.
"Hm? Oh, good, you're up. Check it out, I've mapped out some important considerations for the mission. But I really need you help to fill in the gaps. So, tell me, what's the angel world like? What kind of things do we need to prepare for?" Echo walked over from the bookshelves to a large table filled with pieces of paper and little clay sculptures, looking like mini versions of everyone in Shadow Moon.
