In the morning, Echo was in the library, where'd she'd been most of the night, surrounded by research and plans. She paced around the table, talking to herself.

"Ok, let's see..." she cleared her throat.

"Hey, Queenie, it's a pleasure to meet you! Just popped in to warn you bout the warrr!" she practiced with a bow.

"Ugh. No. Too chummy," she interrupted herself.

"Your highness, it is with great respect that I inquire a dialogue regarding our political situation," she tried again, stood tall with one arm resting against her chest like a butler.

"Ugh, what am I? A thousand?!" she cringed at herself.

"Oi, Sapphire, vampires doing bad thing! We keep Yukine please???" she blurted out in frustration.

"Ughhh no!" she cried out.

"We're shadow moon, a brave and loving family of outcasts, and we defy your discriminating rules!" she declared to no one.

"Aghhh, I'm gonna get us all killed," Echo groaned, crouching to the ground, giving up.

"Uh? You ok in here, Mistress?" Kyou entered the room.

"Oh, Kyou, hey. Yeah, just trying to figure out the best way to start this whole royal conversation," Echo grumbled.

"... You're.. really going?" Kyou mumbled with discomfort.

"Don't start this again, Kyou," Echo said simply, not having the energy to argue.

Kyou lowered his gaze onto the table. He then noticed some outfit designs among the papers of plans.

"Uh? You designed these?" he picked a few up.

"Oh, yeah. I need to get started, actually! Ah, that's what I was meant to do yesterday! Get material," she sighed in frustration.

"Amour, right?" Kyou observed the details of the outfits Echo had sketched out.

"Yep," Echo agreed.

"What metal do you need? I can make iron templates from my magic, you know?" Kyou offered.

"Uh. Wait. You'd do that?" Echo gasped in surprise, turning to him.

"I don't quite support you going to the angel world... but I do support your protection," Kyou muttered.

"Hm, and fashion sense, ay?" Echo smirked, holding up one of the designs she had made for herself.

"Well, if you can make some iron plates, that would be really helpful, and a lot cheaper! Come on, I've got a station out back," Echo grinned, grabbing the rest of her designs.

"Uh...." Kyou hesitated to follow her as she sprang out the room.

He exhaled slowly, and then stepped after her, something seeming to weigh on his mind. As he left the library, he passed Atomu, Leo, and Hiro in the hallway, who were... training? Or playing? It was hard to tell.

"Oh, morning, Echo. How's the research going?" Luna stepped out of the kitchen before Echo could reach the back door out to the courtyard, where she had a small workstation.

"It's going. How are you doing?" Echo asked with slight caution, being worried about her from yesterdays incident with Luna snapping down a colossal tree.

"Huh? I'm great, yeah! Nothing to worry about with me, haha!" Luna smiled widely. Too widely.

"Mm... take it easy today, yeah?" Echo suggested.

"Y-yeah... I know," Luna agreed, expression falling slightly, regretting to know what Echo was worried about.

"Is Yachel up yet?" Echo added.
