Jacksons pov
We woke up early and went and hit up Oahu beaches for some fun. We were laying on the beach right now and I was playing with Lauren's fingers. She was super chill about it and that's what I like about her, she's chill. I really like her. I tried to deny it but it's true I really like her and I was going to tell her. Eventually. We laid on the beach and watched the waves pass by.
"Laur when you leave im really gonna miss you!"
"I'm gonna miss you too but you're coming to LA in a month right?"
"Yeah but I'm still gonna miss you!"
"Me too but we will spend so much time together in LA."
"Promise?"
"Promise!"
I looked into her eyes and leaned in closer and she closed her eyes. Our lips were inches apart.
"Hey Jackson!"
"Goddammit Taylor what do you want?"
"The girls called something happened to Camila!"
"What happened to Camz?" Lauren jumped up.
"I don't know they didn't say but we have to get back!"
"Let's go!" Lauren grabs her stuff and we head back to the hotel and grab all of our things filled the boat and I bought tons of food so we didn't really have to stop and filled the gas tank. We got on the water immediately. We sailed back to the island while Lauren freaked out. Taylor tried to help but couldn't.
"Taylor please man the boat!" He nods and takes control of the boat. I sit next to Lauren.
"You ok Laur?"
"No what if something really bad happened?"
"She'll be fine we don't even know what's going on."
"I can't bear the thought of anything happening to her."
"I know sweetheart it'll all be ok!" She cried into my shoulder. We reached the shore in record time and tied up the boat then drove the long drive to the girls hotel. We ran right inside and to the girls room. There were cries coming out. We knocked on the door and Dinah opened and Lauren ran past her to Camila's side and held her hand.
"Camzi are you ok?"
"No there's so much pain!" Camila cries out.
"I'm here now what's wrong?"
"Laur I'm going towards the light!"
"No don't go there! Stay here avoid the lights at all costs!"
"Mani what the hell is going on?"
"Ok so she wakes up complaining about pain. And so we called you guys when we took her to the hospital and after like 3 hours of doctors and her complaining. They're like it's just cramps and she's overreacting."
"I am not overreacting! They don't understand Mani!"
"Camz you made us rush back from Oahu for some fucking cramps!"
"Lau don't leave me there's so much pain."
"Oh my god!" She rolled her eyes and stood up and walked out of the door.
"I'm sorry about that!"
"It's cool!"
"No I mean we had to rush back here and I freaked out and then she only had cramps in sorry I ruined your trip!"
"No no no, you didn't ruin anything I just thought you needed some away from the away so as long as I'm with you I'm fine!" She smiled and bit her lip.
"You're sweet!"
"You wanna go?"
"Let's go to your house and watch Netflix!"
"Ok then let's hit it!" I grab her hand and we drive the long drive back to my house singing really loudly to the radio. It was really fun. She's so much fun. She hung her feet on the dashboard in front of her and looked so relaxed. She extended her arm on the door and I saw the red and white line on her wrist and my smile faltered but soon returned. I loved this just cruising the open road with someone you love. Wait-love? Do I love Lauren? No there's no way I may have a crush on her but I do not love her. Right?
As I was saying we drove to my house and went inside. She plopped on the couch and I next to her. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair.
"What do you want to watch?"
"Breaking bad!"
"Ooh yes!" I turned it on and she cuddled into my side as the opening credits of Breaking Bad played. We watched for a while and I got a wind of bravery.
"Lauren I need to tell you something!" She twists around and looks at me her green orbs glinted with curiosity and happiness but if you stripped the surface there was a sense of pain. She was hiding it but there was pain there hidden but there.
"Yeah JackJack!" I suddenly got really nervous.
"Uh..." Then it just bursts out and I'm glad it did but mad that it did.
"I like you!"
"I like you too!"
"No like I like-like you!"
"I like like you too!"
"No like I have a crush on you!"
"I have a crush on you too!"
"As a friend?"
"As more than that!"
"Really?"
"Yeah!" I brush the hair out of her face and she bites her lip. I slowly lean in but then the door opens.
"Every fucking time!" I say and she giggles.
"We'll get our chance!" She kisses my cheek.
"Hey Jack!" Nela says walking inside.
"Sup Nela!"
"I think I want to ask Dinah to be my girlfriend!"
"Go for it bro!"
"How should I do it?"
"Dinah doesn't like flowers she likes chocolate though!" Lauren says.
"Woah Lauren where did you come from?"
"Miami!"
"Funny! Smartass!"
"I know I'm funny and smart as hell" She says with a smirk.
"The girls are gonna come over later!" He tells me.
"Ok cool!" I reply and continue watching the show with Lauren. My arm wrapped around her shoulder and our hands intertwined. Her head was leaning on my shoulder. Nela went to my garage to mess with some surfboards and stuff. The girls arrived later with Taylor.
"Hey ladies!" I said. They all walked over and I saw Camila glance at our intertwined hands resting on Lauren's shoulder and glared at me. I didn't understand why but brushed it off.
"So we never got to talk how was the trip?"
"It was good on the way there we stopped at a riptide cove thing and went for a swim." I explain.
"The water was so clear it was cold but I forced Jackson to carry me there." Lauren elaborates.
"Yeah then we got there and we went clubbing and Taylor made out with some girl in a corner while we danced."
"Together?" Dinah questions eyebrow raised.
"No Dinah we fucking danced separately the whole fucking time and made no contact whatsoever!"
"So you didn't dance together?"
"Yes we fucking danced together!"
"Lauren I've been rather lenient this vacation but your language is getting a little out of hand." Ally says but Lauren rolls her eyes.
"Then we were laying on the beach till we got Normanis call!" Camila was still glaring me down.
"That's cool guys sounds like you had fun!"
"We did!"
"So what are we going to do now?"
"Let's watch a scary movie!" Lauren says
"So that Lauren can entertain her sadistic mind and we can all be scared shitless!" I joke. She elbows me in the gut. I groan.
"I was just kidding Lolo!"
"Yeah better be!" I laugh. Nela put on the video and it played Chucky. Fucking Chucky. Fucking hate that movie but Lauren loves it so we're watching it. We watched and I got scared a few times but only flinching. Lauren got scared a few times as well and curled up into me burying her head in my chest. I see Camila staring me down in the dark and it's really starting to creep me out. The movie went forward until the end. Normani was under a blanket with the light from her phone shining. Dinah was straight up asleep. Ally was shaking and shivering and Camila was staring at me again. Lauren was falling asleep.
"You sleepy sweetie?" I ask her and she nods sleepily.
"Imma take her to bed!" I picked her up bridal style and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I carried her to my room and laid her in the bed. I tried to let go but she pulled me back down.
"Stay with me!" She mumbles and I chuckled then wrap my arms around her torso.
"Ok sweetheart!" We laid there and I guess fell asleep. I woke up to clicking sounds and talking.
"Guys their so cute!" That was Ally.
"I don't think so I've seen cuter!" Camila says.
"You're just jealous that Lauren has a new lover!" Dinah teases.
"Shut up Dinah!"
"Can you guys please shut the fuck up im trying to sleep!" Lauren says and cuddles into me closer and nuzzles her head into my neck.
"Ssshhh guys their sleeping!" Normani says. I tighten my grip on her waist.
"It would make you guys so not weird if you left and stopped watching us sleep!" I say. There's shuffling. And I open one eye and see Camila glaring at me. They leave and close the door.
"Hey Lau do you know why Camila keeps glaring at me whenever I'm near you?"
"I think she has a crush on me or something!"
"Should I be jealous?"
She flutters her eyes open.
"No you shouldn't be jealous because I like you not her."
"So is...are you like..."
"Bi?" I nod
"Yeah kind of but more so leaning towards guys. Only ever liked liked one girl in my life and I'm pretty sure it was because she was a spitting image of me and I found her attractive because she was me!"
"But you are declaratively bi?"
"Yes do you have a problem with me being bi sexual?"
"No I just don't want Camila stealing my girl!"
She smiles. "Your girl?"
"Yes my girl! I'm not rushing you into a relationship or anything but your my girl I'm officially your protector!" She laughs.
"My knight in shining armor?"
"Yup!"
"I love it!" She kisses my cheeks a few times.
"Now the girls are waiting let's go!"
"Ok!"
