Part 44

Jackson's pov
I had Sydney film the whole thing. So she filmed me waking up and brushing my teeth then grabbing my suitcase and Jax. I kissed a picture of her and then began leaving the apartment. We went to the airport and grabbed tickets then went and waited. I texted Dinah the plan since she is our love doctor. She helps me make sure that all of my romantic plans go smoothly. When she didn't answer the text I called her.
"Hello!"
"Dinah is the on speaker?"
"Actually yes."
"Please take it off speaker it's important."
"Ok it's off and I went into my car so the girls won't hear. Is this about the thing we were talking about?"
"Yup I'm on he first flight home."
"Haha your funny but seriously are you coming home?"
"Yeah I'm boarding in 10 minutes."
"Ok ok this is awesome just call me when you're here and I'll pick you up."
"Ok thanks DJ!"
"Lauren's gonna be so surprised and excited!"
"I know I'm so excited to see her and kiss her and hug her and be an annoying, grossly cute couple."
"And as much as I dread that, I'm happy for you guys."
"Thanks."
"Alright now go catch your plane."
"Alright bye."
I hung up and waited for the flight then got on the plane and put my earbuds while Sydney still filmed. She shut it off and we went through the flight. I fell asleep and when I woke up there was still 20 minutes left in the flight. Sydney started filming again. I suddenly got nervous. No reasoning, I know I'm nervous when my leg starts bouncing up and down and I bite my fingertips.
"You nervous?"
"Uh yeah."
"Why?"
"Because I haven't seen her in like 3 months and we only had a day in between so I basically haven't seen her in 6 months."
"Well you got this no need to be nervous."
"I'm also giving her something."
"What?"
"You'll see." We landed and exited the plane. Big Jeff escorted us to a car and I put sunglasses on all of them. Some fans came up so I signed things and took pictures with them. We got in the car and I noticed that Tobias was chewing on his shirt. It's a little strange. I don't know I think somethings up. Jeff drove us and then I texted Dinah I was here and she opened the door.
"Hey Jackson she's in the kitchen listening to your music and eating carrots."
"Oddly specific."
"Just thought you'd wanna know."
"Ok this is my sister Sydney and her son Tobias. Watch them for me?"
"Sure now go get your girl."
I walked past her and slowly inside I past Camila and Normani who gasped but I have them the shh sign and they followed me into the kitchen along with Dinah who was filming. I saw her jumping around to my song 'I want crazy'. She knew all the lyrics already. I'm touched. I decided to join in.

"I miss him so much I'm hearing his voice in my head."
"That's not in your head princess." She whipped around and saw me. She squealed and ran into my arms. I gave her a huge hug and she started crying. I wiped her tears.
"I told you I'd be home before you knew it." I say wiping her tears.
"I missed you so much!" She said.
"I missed you too."
"I'm not letting go cause you might run off again." I chuckle
"I'm not going anywhere for a long time."
We hugged for a while and then the girls were behind us sobbing messes. Except Dinah and Camila of course. Even ally showed up out of nowhere and was crying.
"Now do it!" Dinah said plainly.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I play coi.
"Don't play dumb you know what I mean. Right now tell her and give it to her."
"What is she talking about?" Lauren asks holding onto my side.
"He knows. Stop being a little coward and do it."
"Hoi Dinah you're gonna blow it."
"Do it and you won't have an issue."
"But..."
"No buts, you stalled long enough. Now tell her."
"I'm confused." Lauren furrows her eyebrows.
I sigh and reach into my pocket and pull out the ring buy keep it secure in my fist.
"Y'all don't have to watch." I say.
"Really? You know we're gonna just watch from around the corner anyways."
"Ok fine. Hey babe so here's the thing. I was supposed to say this when I came back for that one day. I didn't cause I'm a coward. Anyways I've made some mistakes in life. I've done shit that I shouldn't have. I've fucked up friendships, relationships, for my own selfish gain. I've been a dick to you, to the other girls, to my family, to my friends. I should probably stop talking. Well one thing that I didn't make a mistake on was falling in love with you. I love everything about you, your porcelain skin, your smile, your intoxicating laugh, your sometimes demonic and slightly sadistic sense of humor, I know it hasn't been easy for you in this relationship, in life. You need and deserve something that's certain. I want to be that thing you can say that you'll always have no matter what. So Lauren I got you something..." I pulled out the ring And Got down on one knee cause im old fashioned that way. Her eyes went wide with fear of what I was gonna say.
"Ok will you take this promise ring and promise that one day in the future, far in the future that you'll be my wife." She took a long exhale then smiled.
"Yes." I placed the ring on her finger then hugged her and kissed her quickly.
"I thought you were gonna propose, I was scared to say no." She whispered.
"Not yet baby not yet but eventually. Just know that I'm forever."
"Thank you."
"Good job uncle Jack." Tobias said from Sydney's arms.
"She said yes buddy." I say taking him.
"Now let me introduce you two."
"Oh my god he's so cute."
"Keep the baby away from Lauren!" Camila backs them all away.
"Why?"
"She has an unhealthy obsession with them. She can't see one without picking it up."
"Shut up Camz he's so cute." I hand him over.
"Eyes." He says pulling the edges of her eyes up.
"Don't do that." I scold him.
"It's ok he likes my eyes it's fine." Lauren assures me. He pokes her nose and touches all over her face.
"He's adorable." Ally gushes.
"You gonna introduce them rude ass." Dinah says and Ally slaps her arm.
"There is a baby in the room."
"Right sorry this is my sister Sydney and her son Tobias. They will be staying in my guest house for a while."
"They could stay here. It's good for girl to be with girl plus this little cutie." Lauren offers.
"No no she can stay at my place."
"No she's staying here so I can spend as much time as possible with my new boyfriend. Tobias." Lauren gushes.
"Hey hey hey she's mine little guy." I tickle his sides and he giggles.
"You guys are such a cute couple."
"Thanks." We say at the same time.
"Hey Toby you want to go play with some toys." Dinah asks and he nods. Lauren pouts and pulls him closer.
"No." She says turning around.
"I told you not to give him to her." Camila says shaking her head.
"Lauren hand over the child." She growls.
"Lauren..." She sighs and places him down and he goes off running around and Dinah goes after him, placing the camera down on the counter. The girls disperse around the kitchen while me and Lauren stay standing in each other's hold. My arms around her waist and her arms around my torso.
"I missed you baby girl."
"I missed you too gator."
"Why gator? Im scared to ask."
"Cause you kissed a gator didn't you?"
"I did. But now I get to kiss you whenever I want to." I kiss her and she kisses me back. It's little pecks but we're kissing somewhat. Dinah said we can't make out in front of her anymore cause it's gross. I agree cause she makes some very pg-13 comments on it. Granted Lauren does like to get frisky in front of people so her observations are founded.
"Hey I'm gonna go home to sleep." I said.
"and I'll go with you." Lauren jumps. The girls give us suspicious looks.
"What? I haven't seen him in like 4 months." She smiles cheekily. I roll my eyes knowing her game but this time I was gonna play.
