Zero's Jacket

~Kaname's POV~

"So you like Rose," I said in a bitter tone. Really, Zero is an idiot. Didn't he know that Yuki needed him and that he owed her as much as not to betray her? Besides Zero can't just think that he likes Rose just when she's passed out by blood loss because of him.

Though I wasn't mad at that fact but, I furious at the fact that he actually could think of liking her and that he drank her blood. I loved Yuki....I couldn't drink her blood. Then why would Zero and Rose question my love for her?

"You need to learn the meaning of privacy you filthy pureblood, in your lifetime it shouldn't be so hard but we're talking about you," My anger flared at his words.

A mad level end vampire is calling me a filthy Pureblood? I would kill him on the spot but Rose would get in my way later...and Yuki cherished him. What a troublesome weapon...he's getting out of hand.

So he didn't confirm it nor did he deny it..." Zero, Look at Rose, your hunger must of made her pass out, Yet you still call me a filthy pureblood? Can you even think that you like her?" I said harshly.

Zero looks down at Rose and plays with her hair. Did he just ignore me? "Rose was really too tired and had a lack of food so I told her to take a rest and stay here. I wonder who would have kept her up all day?" Zero said in an accusing tone looking at me.

I didn't exactly pester her, I just didn't tell them to go to bed... I looked at Rose sleeping on the ground. Her head rested on Zero's lap and his jacket over her...It irritated me.

I swiftly went towards her and picked her up,"I need to take her to the Night class now. Jason would be worried," I said.

Zero took Rose's hand and said,"Do you think I would leave Rose alone with a hungry pureblood who knows what her blood smells like?" I pulled back to let Rose's hand slip away from Zero's. He holds onto her hands though.

"Rose is a lot safer with me than she is you. You've drank her blood already and can't protect her from the whole night class without me," Zero's eyes flash a quick realization but just as fast he said," Your a pureblood. It's different, you should know well."

Rose squeezes Zero's hand unconsciously and rolls to put her head on my chest. Really I didn't know if I was irritated or slightly triumphant at what she did.

I pulled her hand out of Zero's and started walking away with him following.

"I think you have your duties to attend, Zero. Don't want Yuki to be doing it all alone." I said not looking back but I knew he was following silently.

"I am, I'm protecting a human student from a dirty pureblood," he said smartly. I have to remind myself that this guy is useful and that he's important to Yuki before I snap and kill him.

We go to the classroom in silence. When we got to the classroom Jason was the first one to reach me and start an uproar with the others. "What happened to Rose!?" asked Hanabusa.

Jason and Zero went out of the classroom only noticed by Hanabusa and me. He looked like he wanted to go after them but Rose was still hurt and he wanted to know.

"Rose was just tired and lacked food, she'll be alright." When I said that everyone was relieved and guilty. I could guess why.

Jason and Zero came back through the door. Jason looked so relieved and said,"Here, give Rose to me." holding out his hands for her."

When I hesitated Jason looked confused,"Lord Kaname? You don't have to carry her. She's done this a lot, you know, not wanting anyone to worry and concern for her while she lacks her sleep and food." I hand her over reluctantly.
