~Rose's POV~

Zero bit me on my forearm. I winced in slight pain, even though I braced for it. He looked so in pain before he bit me. How could I refuse? No, how could I even hesitate? How long had he been suffering? He hadn't told anyone I bet, but I've never heard of anyone rejecting the

Why? Because I was a greedy person. I looked down at Zero.

He was dying. He's descending slowly...because of vampires....so that's why he hates them. He detests them...loathes them to the core.....yet...he's descending down a path worse than death itself.

I vaguely remember what Jason told me while my parents fought off bad vampires. "That's a ______ vampire, Rose. They use to _____ humans. I couldn't remember. All I remember was that Jason was in his cage, (built to keep him away while I was hurt of course Jason and I rebelled against it but that's another story) and my mom and dad fought a scary vampire.

I didn't remember what kind of vampire and what they did to humans. Typical that I would miss the important part.

Zero had stopped drinking my blood. What should I do now? My blood could probably be smelled by Jason and other vampires by now. "Rose! The scent." His eyes widened as if it had dawned on him that we were near the dorm, but I was already ahead of him.

Was this the usual Zero? I only knew him since yesterday why would he be so worried about me? How considerate. Since he told me that he was a vampire, I guess he deserved to know about my blood. "Zero. When I hurt myself or something and bleed, my blood has a weird way of magnifying it's own scent 3x the normal amount. I'll be okay, I'm used to this."

"Then why the hell did you let me drink your blood?!" Zero shouted at me, "It's like committing suicide! With my help! Especially here!" he continued. I smile at his panic, although I was suppressing a little myself.

"Normal is boring." I shrugged as I stood up, "Besides it's daytime, If vampires were to get me out here. It would be difficult for them." as I finished my comment I whipped my head around at the catch of a presence. "Well, except for Jason."

As if on cue, Jason popped up from around the bushes looking seriously worried.....and pissed off. "Damn it, Rose! Do you know how typically stupid this is of you!?" Jason looked fine, which always amused me. I was always wondering how he kept his hunger together long enough to give me a full lecture. Maybe I wasn't the weirdo he claimed me to be. Maybe I got it from him.

"The whole entire Moon Dorm woke up in a blood feeding frenzy because of you!" He shouted, pinning my shoulder to the tree. I look at Zero to see what he would do, but he just looked at Jason with different feelings, confusion, awe and surprise.......I guess with hidden resentment.

"How can you stand the sunlight?" Zero asked, but Jason wasn't taking anything. He held up a finger, silently asking Zero to hold for just a second. "You just can't do this! Not in the middle of the day when everyone is sleeping. You're disturbing everyone so if you have an excuse, you better bet your butt that it's a good one."

"Zero? Can I tell him?" I said looking at Zero. He looked as if I had just given him a slap on the face, "Don't worry Jason won't tell either! I promise!" I said, but I realized that it didn't make a difference whether Jason wouldn't tell or not, it was different since Jason was actually a vampire. Zero looked at Jason with skepticism and scorn.

"Even so," Zero before he hushed his voice and turned around, "It doesn't matter to me, just don't let it spread," in a haughty voice. Jason looked at me expectantly, but I stared at Zero. What did he mean he didn't care. It didn't matter to him, my sagging butt.

"Jason. Zero's a vampire." I said before Zero could take it back. Jason didn't get it at first but realized what had happened.

"Zero bit you?!" He said re-directing the pissed look. "To think...!" he said about ready to attack Zero, but I grabbed Jason's collar and stopped him from moving any closer to Zero, "NO! Jason! No. Somehow he's a vampire but he has these painful fits every time he's hungry and for some reason his body rejects the tablets." I rushed out before either of them could say do anything. Jason just looked between the two of us, still angry at me. "I couldn't do anything! He can't eat the blood tablets so I gave him my blood!" I looked at Zero and then to Jason. Jason, if anyone, would understand.
