I met up with Jason again. Or well, I called Jason to my room. Or well, not my room, but my office. Same thing, right?

"Remember when you and I shared a room?" I played with my hair as he walked in. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw him smiling.

"Yeah," He said with a sad nostalgic tone. Then, with a sigh, he smiled, "those were the times," Jason sat on my desk.

"Anyway" I smiled, looking up at him, "What did you have to say about Takuma?"

Jason paused and turned to the door before looking back at me. I raised an eyebrow. "Do you not want to tell me?" I asked.

His eyes wandered, I got up and went to the couch. Falling over, my back was against the sitting cushions and my legs were propped up against the back of the couch. Jason joined and laid his head against my stomach, using me as a pillow.

He sighed, sounding somewhat conflicted, "He's acting weird. It's almost as if he's letting Lady Sara get to him...." He paused for a second and put his hands on his face, "I know I'm not responsible for him but he's my brother. We were suppose to look out for each other but I fed him to the dogs. I let him be influenced by Lady Sara,"

I played with his hair, listening silently as I stared at the ceiling.

"Lady Sara's doing something, Rose. I know it. It's gut feeling, but I just don't want to judge her since I don't know her... But Takuma, it's like he wants to help us, but he isn't because he can't,"

"So you believe he's under the influence of Lady Sara's blood?" I questioned.

"Yes,"

I smiled. Such a flat and confident answer.

"And you believe that Sara is someone not to be trusted," I stated bluntly, looking at the ceiling.

"Yes," He was unsure of what I'd say...of what I'd think. But there was a different part of him who was fully devoted to me. Who, no matter what I did, would follow me. It touched me to no ends.

I poked his cheek with a smile, "You're not the only one,"

He returned the smile and rolled his eyes. "You're Perfect," I stuck out my tongue mockingly, "Aw, aren't you sweet,"

He turned to me, "Oh yeah, Rose,"

"Yes?" I asked.

"Did you hear about Kaname's goal in this killing spree?"

I my mind flashed back to the Vampire association. That day, seconds before, Kaname and I raided the place to get to Ichio and slaughtered every vampire who came in the way. Then, I remembered Jason's question. "Yeah, I have,"

"How am I going to protect you?" Jason sighed, half hearted, like he didn't want to worry me, but hearing that he was going to protect me worried me.

"How are you going to protect me?" I laughed, "Always be by my side, that's how. It's the only reason I'm like-able,"

Jason scoffed, "Who told you that you were like-able at all?"

"Shut up" I laughed, "I know I'm like-able,"

"Lately you haven't had any of your attacks," Jason pointed out, changing the subject in a not too subtle way.

I nodded, going along with it, "I haven't,"

"It must mean you're starving," he sighed.

"What? Going to offer me your blood?" I joked with him, hoping to lighten the situation.

"No," he frowned, "It would hurt you more,"

I looked back up at the ceiling silently, "Yeah, I know. Isn't it Ironic. I can't drink blood even though I'm a vampire. One of the most vampires to ever vampire too,"
