"Yuki," I called out, "Where am I?"
She gasped in a breath and looked over to me, "Rose," she said, "Oh, god, you're okay. You rejected my blood and kept coughing and..."
I held her hand, "I'm sorry I worried you,"
She sighed and leaned back, "We're in the Hunter's Organization as a witness,"
I looked at her and sat up. There was silence before I took her hand, "Yuki...I'm sorry. The memories Kaname gave you must have been painful,"
She looked up, "They were hard to take in. It is his past and it is his pain afterall," she turned to me, "She was your ancestor wasn't she?"
I nodded.
"The lady Kaname first loved was practically you," She laughed sadly, "I....sometimes I wonder why I try,"
"Yuki..." I said.
She shook her head, "No. I see you. I see how you suffer and how you had refused to get closer to Kaname during your stay at the manor,"
I paused.
"And I hadn't wanted to say anything because I didn't want to care about what you were doing. I wanted to think that you were only doing it for attention but I realized soon that it was because you loved Kaname,"
I shuddered at the sound of the words being spoken out loud.
"I don't want to talk about it," I said quickly, "Please don't,"
I knew why she was bringing this up. She was questioning our love for Kaname. He was a killer now. A murderer.
"I..." I started, "I should explain about my sickness. My mother tried to cast the same spell your mother used but she hadn't cast it as well as your mother. Her powers went everywhere. Jason forgot I was pureblood. It sealed my powers as a Pureblood. It made Headmaster forget who we were. It made everyone who knew us basically....forget....but, she also happened to give up a lot of her powers to me,"
I cringed as a sharp pain hit my rib, but I continued, "I have too much power and it's destabilizing my body. It's eating me from the inside out. Intaking blood doesn't help my cause but....It's also a necessity to sustain me. I don't know what to do,"
She squeezed my hand, "We'll figure out some thing,"
She then got up, "Hurry, I've just received acceptance to chase a vampire down. He's kidnapped children and-"
Kidnapping children was all I needed to hear to get on my feet, "Well why are you in here?" I asked, suppressing a gasp at my sudden movement.
She smiled and said, "So I feel like I know where we can find him,"
~
"Do you know where I can find this person?" Yuki joyfully shoved her picture at a bar tender. It was a bar for only vampires.
"No, no one will know," he said gruffly, "Order something or leave,"
I chuckled, "told you,"
She pouted, "Okay, okay,"
I turned, having the slightest feeling of being watched. There was a guy at a table, muttering something about us.
I nudged Yuki and she turned. Smirking, she crumpled the paper, "Gotcha,"
Running, she took after him, her sense of accomplishment achieved. I panicked, seeing as he wove through the tables. It's as if he knew this place really well.
Taking Sterling, I threw her like a javelin at the convict and he flew through the door, unconscious. Yuki turned to me, "Good job!" She signed a thumbs up, before going to check on the guy.
