She's Back

~Jason's POV~ *A Year Later*

I stood watch helpless in the back as Lady Sara held the curtains open as Takuma slowly awakened for the first time in a year.

"Takuma!" I said, rushing over. I shielded Takuma's body from the sunlight but Sara said, "Ichijo, please get out of my way,"

I pursed my lips and walked back. I haven't been touched by lady Sara in the least. As Rose had promised on that chaotic day a year ago, I seem to have been saved from a lot of damage.....but Takuma.

"Urgh," Takuma said as the sunlight hit him. "The sunlight...." He groaned, "It's too bright,"

"Well," Lady Sara said, "Your finally awake," I clenched my fist and Aeternum went ballistic.....again.

I watched as the blackish silver ball swarmed Sara. "Enough," I said as I could clearly see Lady Sara's exhausted face.

It was an exhausted tired, but more like an expression that told me that if I don't get it away, she'd find a way to hurt me, no mercy. "You took much to long to wake up," Lady Sara said.

"Much to long even for someone who had their hearts partially cut out by Ichiou," Takuma looked to me to see if I was unhurt. I creased my eyebrows and felt the weight of a large burden settle on me. "Even so, I was sure you'd pull out of it,"

I looked down, it was because of Sara, I couldn't leave, she had Takuma in her grasp and I felt obligated to take watch over him.

I glance at the windows and Aeternum managed to escape my gaze and yank the window blinds from her grasp and pull it down, covering the bright light that bore into Takuma.

"Sara...." Takuma said slowly, then noticing who she was he widen his eyes, "Lady Shirabuki?!"

She chuckled and said, "Well, I have some questions, I'd have already asked of your brother over there but...it seems the pestering orb sprang to protect him...Of course that brat would....." Sara was talking about Rose.

I haven't seen her for a year and my heart hurt because of it. A year. This was the longest time we've been apart from each other and I yearned to hug her and see her smiling face.

I stepped up but decided better, she might not be able to hurt me but she would be able to do some reasonable damage to Takuma in my stead.

"I have some questions about Kaname-sama....now...you see, I don't know much about him," She started slowly.

Even though it was a pureblood asking Takuma, he was only half paying attention to her, thinking about what we did together, that night we killed grandfather, it was the first thought on my mind when I woke up.

"I very much hate being ignored," I heard her say, "Will you kindly tell me everything you know about Rose-sama, to me, everything about Kaname-sama would apply more to you,"

Takuma gave me an alarmed look before smiling cutely at Shirabuki-sama and saying, "Err, well, you see, I can't tell you everything, about him, he'll be a bit angered, how about you ask him directly?" He smiled and Sara sighed.

"I did ask him before and he refused me, which is why I asked for you two to do it instead," She said reaching out for him.

Touching his wound I started walking up slowly, "Hmm, and you were an even closer person to Kaname than Ichiou use to be," I saw Takuma's eyes widen as she revealed his still raw chest from the fight.

Aeternum only barely managed the two of both of us as the tower crumbled. "You know, I have really short patience, I'm getting tired of beating around the bush in such a troublesome manner,"
