~Jason's Pov~
I decided to leave.
I tried to convince Takuma.
Takuma, come on, I'm going to Rose, I had said, I have a feeling that she's alone, I told him.
But he made it clear.
Lady Sara would then be alone.
That he just couldn't leave her side. And I understood, because Lady Sara was a Pureblood. She might speak in riddles and she may tell us of her wrong doings without emotions. Make herself look bad... but that's what Purebloods do.
Sara just isn't telling us everything.
And neither will Rose.
I roamed the streets of a town, one I supposed was nearby the Kuran Estate.
If my deductions were correct, Rose should be living with Kaname.
A bag was slung over my shoulder with Aeternum. She bounced around trying to get out.
Holding her in, I struggled with my bag, given stares from around me. At one point, I came to the realization that they were thinking it was an animal I carried.
Even without her real presence, she likes to give me trouble doesn't she?
Then finally getting out, she dropped to the ground faster than I thought anything could fall but she then seemed to hover just at the top of the cobblestone and then started rolling.
And I followed.
Maybe this will lead to the Kuran house.
Going through the crowd, I had to go through some people but for Rose, she went in a stead straight line, as if she knew that no one would get in her way.
Then without noticing it, I realized there were no more people.
"Aeternum," I said, "Where-"
A scream shot through the silence and Aeternum darted towards it, not bothering to be used a rolling ball anymore. Running towards the sound, I turned just in time to see a girl brush herself off.
Dust laid on the ground, a pile on top of Aeternum's slick surface.
"What happened?" I asked.
She looked up and stepped into the light.
She had a rather well tanned skin with a pair of dark wash jeans and a golden sweater. Her shoes were boots, reminding me of Rose the slightest bit.
Her silky golden brown hair fell down to the bottom of her shoulder blades in soft curls, a black beanie covering her head and ears. Bangs fell into her eyes.
"What do you mean what happened?" She asked, a faked mischievous smile crossed her lips. Looking up, the expression she gave resembled Rose so much, I had to step back.
"What happened as in, a scream. You should have heard it too," I said.
Aeternum rolled out from behind her and she shrugged, "See, hear, touch? Nope, nothing, why?" but I saw her slightly shaking figure.
I crossed my arms, "Spill it,"
"It wasn't my fault if you're thinking so," she said, "And I don't take commands from strangers,"
"I know you saw one," I said.
She crossed her arms.
"Saw one?" She faked a disgusted look, tossing her hair over her shoulder, "you say it like I'm being chased by a vampire or monster,"
