I groaned and rolled over.

God, I didn't expect Bloody Rose to bite her fellow comrade so much.

"So sleeping beauty arises," Rei said.

I waved my hand to him, as I held my head in my hand with a headache, "Yeah, yeah, nice pun,"

"Yes, the girl who disguises herself as a human for years until her sixteenth birthday, except, you're already sixteen, and on that fateful day, a particular pair of fangs happen to prick her neck, revealing herself to be a true pureblood princess," He said, "Yes, praise me, I thought of it just a couple minutes ago."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Shut up, how long was I out?"

"You told me to shut up," Rei stated smartly.

"Yeah but when do you ever listen to me?" I asked.

"As of that statement," he countered.

Crossing my arms and swinging my feet off the bed, I said, "Then I demand you to tell me where we are and how long I've been knocked out,"

"We're at my own manor and you've been out cold for the last 15 minutes, very impressive to be up by now, bloody rose bites." He said.

"So, I was wondering," I started slowly, "I was thinking about it just now.....and I was....you know what? Never mind."

He groaned, sitting in the chair and put a hand over his face, "Uggh, you are our sister. Jiro does the same thing all the time. He has something to say and arouse my curiosity, but then shuts me out like that,"

"You know you're related to us right?" I said as he spun in the swivel chair.

"And I also had something to say," Rei said, walking over with his arms crossed and his facial expression thoughtful, "But you know what? Nevermind,"

I got on my knees and punched him lightly in the chest for fun, "Stupid Rei! You just said-"

He laughed, grabbed my wrists and said, "Okay, okay, okay, I'm sorry,"

I looked up at him and said, "Much better, so tell me what you were going to say."

"You know, ever since the beginning, since you've met me, there was this one thing...." he stopped and laughed, "Nevermind, what was I saying? I could never ask this of you."

I realized what he was going to say: 'A vampire's thirst can only be quenched by the blood of the person they love." But I continued to keep my smile. It was obvious that both Rei and Jiro loved me...but for me, they contained and suppressed themselves secretly.

Jiro had drank from me in order to awaken my true pureblood instincts and Rei had watched and not utter a word to me to give any hints to make us know that he hadn't cared....but it's in everyone, to want their good deeds known and his was self control...and I hadn't noticed it.

I hadn't noticed Rei trying to keep me from harm. And I hadn't noticed until I was boldly and selfishly told by him.

"Rei," I said, the smile was gone now, I hadn't decided this ahead of time and I also did not know what emotion would come out of this action, but trusting Rei, I tilted my head, my neck revealed, "You know I trust you right?"

He grabbed my arms tightly and I gasped at the strength he had forced on my wrists. Letting me go immediately, he cupped my face, "Are you sure?" he said, his eyes flickered red.

I smiled, "Well it really depends on if you're asking if I trust you or...."

My voice dimmed down as he stared into my eyes a bit longer and his hands wrapped around my waist as my arms went around his neck.
