Zero's Amazing Luck

~Rose's POV~

I dragged myself up and out of my bed a little before noon so I could get ready for the ice cream that Zero owed me. I wanted to talk to him anyway so him taking me alone was good enough I guess.

I dressed up in a tight white lacey tank and a pair of denim shorts with lace hems that came down to my fingertips. I put on a light brown jacket and a pair of darkish greenish flats...never thought of what the occasion would be when I bought it but....why not add a spontanious color?

At least my rebellious age of money wasting came to use.

Ever since I was 10, boots were my favorite shoes, besides that flats and flipflops were my love.

I slip out the door quietly as not to disturb Jason and slid down the banister like usual and jumped out the door.

~Zero's POV~

I was waiting by the gate and saw Rose skip out of the moon dorm happily. I don't know what that girl was thinking when she said ice cream last night in the freezing air and I don't know what I was thinking actually agreeing to it.

Heat of the moment?

I look at her outfit as she came up to me. What season does she think it is?! She walks up to me with no sense of the bitter cold.

"Hi, Zero!" she saids happily ignoring the cold- no, happily not feeling the cold.

"You're wearing shorts," I said, still awed at her outragous outfit.

"Yeah and you're wearing clothes. Is that bad? I don't think that it's that unnatural." she said smiling like an idiot.

"Ah, by the way, I won't be getting you ice cream I-" I didn't get to finish.

"What? but our deal!" she protested.

"I was trying to say that the ice cream parlour wouldn't be opened during the winter Rose," I finished.

"Oh yeaaaaahhh," she said dragging it on trying to hide her sudden embarrassment.

"I guess we'll go around buying different things!" she sang, her happiness untarnished. Before I could protest she grabbed my hand and dragged me along.

"What would you want to buy?" I asked, not really caring for the answer. She doesn't know what the town looked like anyways.

"I don't know. Cotton candy? I also want to get souvenirs for myself!" she said. I finally caught up with her pace so I didn't stumble. She was seriously dragging me.

"I see the gates!" she let go of me and ran out the gates. I turned around and heard something in the bush. Either it was Jason stalking us or its just another rabbit.

"Zero! Look who I found!" Rose said as she was dragging Takuma Ichijo in through the gates. I make a face. He's the one who was about to bite Rose wasn't he? He looked at me and smiled politely to please Rose.

"Hello, Zero where might you two be going?" asked Takuma.

"Nothing that concer-" I was cut off.

"We were going to get ice cream but it turns out that Zero said that the ice cream parlor is closed so I'm taking him to the road of empty pockets!" she said excitedly.

"What did you do to make him come with you?" he asked knowing no one would want to take her out.

"I beat him in a duel," she said happily,"he's surprisingly good at the sword too! Even I couldn't win as fast as I did Hanabusa. Don't tell him that though. He might become upset and wear him self out working to usurp me and my new domain,"
