~Rose's POV~
I leave reluctantly and jump on Kaname. I felt alone at the moment and I needed someone to hang onto. I felt weak. I'm a pureblood and I need someone to cling to.
I trusted this to Kaname.
I could feel the floor underneath me rumble as I cling to Kaname he was patting my head as I clung onto him tightly. As we were walking I leaned my head against him and debris started falling down and pillars started crumbling.
I looked at a pillar and willed it to strengthen. It's cracks disappeared and it looked good as knew. I'll give Jason as much time as I could. I looked at Kaname and said, "What are you thinking?"
He looked at me and said, "That It's amazing that, along with being over powerful, gaining so much from your mother without giving you a never ending dark path, you can do the opposite of destroy. You can heal."
I look at him and smiled sadly, "That's because my mother and father died in unpredictable ways...Now tell me what your really thinking," He sighed and said,
"In every plan there is always the unexpected," where is he going with this? "Pawns position to protect what I hold dear, that's all I expected from them," I looked at him in contentment. "So your saying you underestimated them greatly,"
He nudged me and I smiled, "but they were different from what I had sought, Yet they knew that I was using them as pawns they showed me even greater effort...even greater radiance." Suddenly the building fell behind us.
I couldn't hold it together anymore as I turned around to run back to help Jason and Takuma. I was caught by the waist though and I fought it as I watched the building go down...Jason...Takuma... I could see through Challenger.
They were fighting and Ichio and Jason were already badly hurt as I saw a blade run through Takuma's side. I saw Jason throw daggers at Ichio before running to Takuma's side. I grip tightly onto Kaname's hand and I accidentally made it bleed.
I was pulled back into reality of the smell and I stopped squirming and he brought me to him. "Sorry...Kaname," I mumbled.
He whispered, "It's okay Rose, I trust them, they're going to be fine..." I slowly calmed down and let protect them as the building fell around them. I simply stopped and said, "Kaname...I'm," Kaname bent down to look at me straight in the eyes and said,
"I'm sorry...for everything I've done...okay?" I look in his eyes to see if there was any hint of lie or anything and I couldn't find any. I smiled and said, "Thank you,"
I brought him into a hug and whisked us away towards the school we landed on the outside of the academy and the headmaster stood up using his sword.
"Headmas- I mean father!" I said. I went over to pick him up and I looked up and he and Kaname turned to the the roof too. It was a big bright light and I could tell, "Kiryu," Headmaster said.
"That light...vampires aren't suitable for that kind of light..." Kaname said. I give him a look and brought myself to the top of the building and landed.
I saw everyone covering themselves hoplessly and I casted a dark shadow over them, taking all of the light that the would've taken.
I was actually shocked at how painful it was, I guess that's what happens when you take in the light for 5 vampires. Suddenly Rido looked at me and smiled knowing I was vulnerable. I looked at Zero, the only one not affected by the light and Rido grabbed me and whisked me away.
~Zero's POV~
I watched as Rose was taken away by Rido and the vines that wrapped around me settled. I looked over at the guys to make sure Rose being here wasn't my imagination. It was all so quick.
