Bad Day

~Rose's POV~

"Come out!" I said whipping Sterling out. "Don't hide like frightened animals!" Then both of the them came out and I said, "Better, I see that you have your arm back."

Looking hatefully at me he said, "As I said before, I've come to execute you two and right now would be perfect,"

"Well what am I getting executed for? Not like I infiltrated the Senate or anything," I said holding onto Sterling with both hands loosely.

He smiled and said, "I've come here on my own accord and will execute you for the crimes of living with vampires and calling Lord Kaname without proper honorific!" With that said he attacked me. This one was fast. He was suddenly at me with his claws so I couldn't do anything but dodge.

I dodged him and kicked his back.

When he flew back his partner was right next to me and I swung Sterling at him. He put both of his hands over mine in order to not get shocked by Sterling. "That's smart...." I thought outloud.

I added, "You have a good grip too!" He tilted his head in confusion. Was I not struggling or something? Yes, yes I was. I was having a hard time keeping it together to say that but when I said that his grip lightened and he said, "Uh...I guess you do too?" probably not really knowing what to say.

I laugh and said, "Thanks," I don't know why I was laughing. Maybe because his partner was on the ground and he and I were talking causally or maybe the fact that he answered. I figured out his name was Samuel too.

"What do you think your doing?" asked the first guy. I turned around, Samuel no longer bothering to fight me. He was getting up and attempted to slash me with both his claws and managed to throw Sterling. She flew and landed across the whole entire opening. He was at it again and was aiming for my neck.

Wait! When he said that he was going to kill me what did he mean? Kill me, kill me or drink me, kill me.

"Why waste such a divine snack?" the man asked. What was he trying to do? I didn't take him for the type to say such things and I also don't think you should compliment the person your trying to kill.

Taking the silver rose in my hand I said, "Whoa I got a deadly weapon that can leave a nasty sting so don't get close," I was backing up. He didn't listen to me as he jumped at me. I gripped the silver weapon and drove it into his arm.

Screaming he backed up clutching his arm. "What is that vile thing!" He said in pain. I looked at it and said, "A...silver....rose?....Oh not to mention that it's an anti vampire weapon....I think...not exactly though, I don't think that an anti vampire weapon would sting...as much," I was hesitant to say it though.

"Hey Samuel why don't you take him back to the Senate before Kaname comes and find that..." I pointed a finger at the man and he silently understood. In an instant he was by the guys side and disappeared. Not a moment passed before Kaname walked up.

I saw him and remembered my comment. I shut my open mouth and turned around. I walked over and picked up Sterling with a heaving breath. Maybe he was really good or I was out of shape. Probably me.

Walking away Kaname said, "What happened here?" I knew that he knew what happened. He was a vampire who could smell and a pureblood who could think. I didn't answer him as I walked away.

When I opened the door to the dorm I heard Ruka, "Going as far as to defy the Senate to protect Cross Academy," she said, "Just what is Lord Kaname thinking?"

I smiled as everyone looked at me. I closed the door and walked to the seat next to Ruka. "Does it matter what he's thinking?" Senri said. We all looked at him and Ruka said, "Shiki, you..."
