Meeting up Again

I woke up with a start.

My breathing was heavy. I looked up and saw Yuki looking at me in concern.

She rushed over to my beside and sat down, "Oh god, Rose, are you okay?" she started asking questions at a speed that my brain could process yet so her words were just jumbled words that went in one way and out the other.

"Yeah," I said, my voice dry, "I'll be okay, what happened?"

"You passed out is what," She said, handing me a glass of water. As I drank I realized that she was whispering. "What's with the whisper?" I asked.

"Oh," She said, "This is all that Kaname could do to keep Jason away,"

"Why would anyone want to take Jason away?" I asked, concerned, why would they want to keep Jason from me? Did he turn into an axe murderer in the last years without me knowing?

Last time I saw him, he was in my dreams.....I couldn't remember what it was about now, but I remember something of a proposal. It was a sad dream. I felt sad right now....but anyways I remember reminiscing about my past. (Okay, so I decided I might as well not waste the chapter and put it in her dreams. For the Jason fans)

"He wasn't eating, it's been a while you've been asleep, about a week. We were starting to become worried," she said, "Along with your health and his, since he kept feeding you, even in you sleep,"

I looked away, "I think you two did best,"

"I think this was the best we could do, sadly enough," Yuki sighed, "We had to keep him away or he'd stay by your bed till you woke,"

"He probably thought that his face would be best for me to wake up to. He always did," I said.

"Is that something funny?" she asked.

"Something along that line," I said, smiling to myself.

I threw the blanket off of me and swung my legs over the end of the bed and noticed I was in my clothes. A pair of straight legged jeans, dark wash, grey fuzzy socks and a red flowy sleeveless tank top. "How..." I asked.

"It's me, don't worry," she said.

"Better," I grumbled and jumped up.

"Take it easy," She said.

"I know," I said, "But I need to look okay for Jason,"

"He won't be showing up for a while," She said, "I told Hanabusa to keep him busy,"

"No, he's on his way right now, he's using Aeternum," I said, "Like right now, he's turning this corner on the left side of the hall,"

"Yeah, I can feel his presence now, he's probably not so happy with me," Yuki grimaced and folded her arms, hands were on her elbows.

"Why?" I asked, seeing no reason as to why Jason would be upset at her.

"Well because it was me who put him to sleep," She said.

I laughed as Jason pushed open the door, peaking his head in, Aeternum floating to my side. I broke into a smile, seeing him for the first time in a while- physically speaking that is.

Running up to him, I throw my arms around him as he crushes me in his bear hug. "Ugh, Jason," I give a strained laugh.

"Never," He said, "Have I ever gone so long without you,"

I held him against me. I wrapped my arms around his waist, my head against his chest. A feeling that has wandered off too far for me to call familiar, sending an aching in my heart.
