Shizuka's Death

~Rose's POV~

I was walking towards the moon dorm thinking about what Maria said. what kind of deal is that? It's not like I'm going to commit murder just so I could be selfish and stay human.

I just didn't want to become a vampire.

What about my parents?

Being me I didn't want Jason or anyone to know about this deal. What would Jason say? He'd try to stop me and worry about what I'd do.

I put my head in my hands and think. What could I do? I sigh and stand up straight. I couldn't lose composure over just this. I made my decision to take the deal of a senseless pureblood and I'd have to take the deal.

I open the doors to the moon dorm and I was met with a lot of stares. The first one I saw was Jason's though. What would happen when I'm turned into a vampire? Would he follow me? I hope that he'd just stay here in the comfort of the academy.

I give a fake smile and said, "What are you guys doing?" it was kind of nice to see everyone together. Apparently they knew something was up and saw right through my smile. "What's wrong Rose?" Rima asked.

I sigh, "Ah....nothing much...just thinking about how sad I'd be when I have to leave," I said. I wasn't really lying exactly, I would miss them, it's just that I wasn't exactly thinking of that.

Jason didn't take that answer though and still looked troubled. "So...what are you guys doing, huddled in a group like this?" I asked adverting my eyes. Good grief Rose, you know Jason! Now he's positive somethings up.

"We're playing apples to apples," Takuma said, "Without you here we got bored," I put on an emotionless face. He's making it harder to chose the right thing to do. I sit down and draw my own cards.

Silently I played the game but luckily no one noticed, being absorbed by the game. After a while we looked up and saw Kaname leaning on one of the chairs. I lay my cards down slowly and said,

"Kaname...." when I said that all eyes were on me, everyone was having a good time and had a little buzz around them like they enjoyed the time together.

I didn't want to ruin that so I said cheerfully, "Remember what I forgot? I remember now," with that I saw Jason and Takuma looking at each other.

Kaname was looking at me carefully without emotion.

I got up and got to the bottom of the stairs and said, "It seems like I'm going to bed now, everyone take care and tell me who wins," I looked at Kaname and said, "Don't treat me like a child, one day I'll save your life," I said and then walked up the stairs.

Halfway up Jason joined me and said, "I'm glad you remember but is that a threat?" and I gave a small giggle, not forcibly or fake but my heart wasn't into it, "No, it's just words put into a sentence to sound like a threat," I said.

Jason smiled and said, "That's a threat then Rose," I look down and see that everyone continued as if nothing had happened, except Hanabusa, who was looking at me. I turned away an left to the bedroom.

When I laid down on the bed I saw Jason sit down on his bed, looking at me. I sit up and innocently said, "Yes?" he said, "So what did you forget? I remember you said something about Shizuka,"

I look onto the ground and pretended to suddenly be interested in the wood. "Well..." I started,

"It seems that since," Suddenly the door opened and Hanabusa was there and said, "So....Rose, you okay?" he shut the door and sat down next to Jason. "Oh...Hanabusa, your in this too. I almost forgot, Well as I was saying. It seems that since Maria is a distant relative of Shizuka I found out that Maria allowed Shizuka to borrow her body and it's been Shizuka all this time,"
