I sat next to Jason in silence.

"Something big just happened," Jason said, pulling me closer to him by wrapping his arms around my waist, "You're upset,"

"Jason," I laid my head on his shoulder, "I make a terrible Pureblood,"

"You make a wonderful leader," Jason rubbed my arm, "So, what happened?"

"Girl problems," I looked up at him.

"With Zero?" Jason smiled slightly at the idea, "How'd he take it?"

"He said 'Rose died two years ago' when I told him that the both of us should let go,"

"You don't mean it though," he asked in a questionable tone, "Did you?"

I hugged Jason back, "Yeah, I kind of did, actually. I need to get over him. He and I.....I don't know...It didn't fit the puzzle. And even though, we didn't have anything, it was still there, you know, that 'more than just friends' feeling. And I decided that since we can't be more than just friends, I wanted us to be friends you know, but that's not going to happen,"

"Rose, you think too hard sometimes."

"Sometimes, I wish you could know what it feels like to be a Pureblood. It's almost torture. I can tell what everyone is thinking. I can see the ways to manipulate for my own good...and suddenly I can't tell if it's me being selfish or my powers being selfish,"

"It's probably just you," Jason joked. I glared at his amused expression before breaking into a small smile. "Yes, Jason," I said, rolling my eyes, "It usually is me isn't it?"

Jason sighed, "It seems to be pretty hard on you. The situation as of late, even if you've adapted your Pureblood habits,"

"Thanks for the encouraging words," I slapped him playfully.

He slapped back, just as hard, "Hey," he laughed, "At least you know that you aren't the only one who thinks so,"

We sat in silence and I squeezed his arms, "Thank you," I said.

"What?" He asked, "Did I say something extraordinary?"

"No," I smiled to myself, "You left your brother for me. And I know how much you look up to him,"

"Hey, can I tell you something? Something about Takuma?" Jason asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Since when have you kept something from me? If that wasn't a stupid question, I don't know what is."

"Fine," Jason said, turning his head away, exposing his neck, "I just won't tell you,"

I leaned up and nibbled his ear lobe, "Tell me," I demanded, not as a Pureblood, but as his friend.

A rising blush spread across his cheeks, "Rosie," he said, almost bashfully, "Stop that."

"Tell me," I asked.

"No," he laughed, denying me my curiosity.

"Please?" I gave him puppy eyes.

"Fine, okay, okay, I'll tell you," he leaned on me and I realized I had practically pushed him down. As soon as we were properly sitting, he huffed indignantly.

"Listen, Pureblood," he said in a joking tone, he pinched my cheeks, "Try that again and I'll punish you."

"Can you? I am a Pureblood," I stuck my tongue out at him, "Or maybe I'll sic Jiro or Rei on you,"

"Not your brothers," His terrified tone was obviously fake.

"Okay, stop distracting me, I want to know: What did you have to say about Takuma?" I sat on my legs and leaned forward.
