Dinner at Headmaster's

~Rose's POV~

I walked back to the dorm after talking to Ruka about how Kaname wasn't worth sitting in her room. Yes, Akatsuki was surprised when Ruka let me in. I sat there to comfort her telling her that I had yelled at Kaname for her and that she should cheer up.

I didn't know what to say really.

It's not like I've been madly in love with a guy before to lose him to his lover. Well maybe I liked Kaname but after I realized that he doesn't really give...I stayed back. Did I? I don't remember...

I didn't want to do anything with him right now at the moment so maybe that's what Ruka's doing...but more extreme.

I told her to stay in the room until she regains her comfort and that she shouldn't stay hung up on someone like him and that she'll have someone better.

I jogged up the stairs and turned the corner and crashed into someone. I didn't see who it was but I heard the familiar ring of a bell. It was Ichiru. I started falling down the stairs but he caught my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist to keep me from giving myself a concussion.

"Thank you so much, Ichiru," I said relieved. He smiled down at me and said, "Good timing, I was wondering," he said, "The headmaster asked me to attend a little dinner with him I was hoping that you could come,"

I laugh and said, "Zero and Yuki's coming aren't they?"

he chuckled and said, "Wow really? How did you know?" sarcastically.

"Eh? They are? I was just joking," I said.

"So your saying having dinner with the chairman alone is just as bad?" Ichiru observed.

"Well....." I said looking away, "Yeah, pretty much,"

"How would you know?" Ichiru tested.

"Oh....just a once upon a time thing," I said, "but don't worry, I'll come,"

He chuckled and said, "Thanks,"

We walked outside since I had nothing to do and Ichiru stopped outside the building. I looked at where his line of sight was going and I saw it was the infirmary room. I sighed and said, "You were planning on giving the vial to Yuki weren't you?"

I suddenly expanded Sterling out and pointed it towards the bushes. I sighed and said, "Sorry, I didn't know it was you Hanabusa," Hanabusa looked relaxed leaning one the tree with arms crossed, "You showed Kaname what's right Rose, too bad you didn't get to your threat,"

Ichiru looked at me with a raised eyebrow, I smiled and said, "Long story, tell you later," Hanabusa was looking at Ichiru now and they had a tense air, "Lord Kaname isn't planning on dealing with you but remember this," Hanabusa said, "I won't let you lay a hand on Yuki Cross ever again,"

I looked confused and said, "I didn't know that Ichiru touched her," Ichiru and Hanabusa blushed and Ichiru said, "I didn't, don't worry he's exaggerating," he looked at Hanabusa and sighed, "You do that,"

He waked away and I said to Hanabusa, "Don't do that, you don't know how much it hurts me to see you forced like this,"

He stood up a little straighter and said, "It's suppose to be a aristocrats honor to do this but I don't feel honored protecting a pampered girl," I added, drawing out each syllable, "La-dy,"

Hanabusa's smiled and said, "Yeah okay," We started walking to the infirmary. "Well I don't think Ichiru plans to do anything to Yuki now," I said.

"About Ichiru, be careful around him," Hanabusa said. I put my hands on my hip and said, "Who do you think I am? I can take care of him and myself,"
