Someone walks by our door and knock on it in a rhythmic pattern. I wake up slowly, this time I'm relaxed. For the first time in many months I'm relaxed. I stretch my arms and feel the other side of the bed is cold. Peeta's gone. I stand quickly and rush to the door, remembering they look once closed. He probably got locked out.
I rush out of the bed and open the door.
"Gale." I mumble. "What do you want?"
"It's time for training."
"Training?" I cross my arms over my chest and stomp my foot lightly.
"We must practice for when we go into battle. If your untrained you'll die."
"Gale, I've been through two hunger games. I think I now how to defend myself."
"Maybe alone or long range, but someone could over power you easily."
"Where is training?"
"Ground zero. So let's hustle Everdeen."
"My name is Katniss, Gale. Call me Katniss."
"Whatever soldier. But we need to be going."
I shut the door in his face. "Everdeen!" He yells.
"Just a second Gale."
I walk I to the bathroom. "I'm getting a shower."
I ignore Gales pounding on the door and strip myself of the clothes Peeta had picked out last night before bed. I stare at the shower in confusion for endless minuets.
Buttons line the wall for different shampoos and washes, the entire thing looks like it is stainless steel.
Where is Peeta?
When my body can no longer take the extremely hot water, I step out and dress in a long sleeve shirt and pants with many pockets.
Why haven't I been given a jumpsuit like everyone else? Maybe they plan on shipping me to snow as soon as possible.
I step out of my room and sigh when I see no ones waiting for me. What did Boggs say Peeta's room number was?
Ah yes, D698. I decide to skip on training. I'm sure it won't be much I'm missing. Then again, I shouldn't be skipping anything.
But I am their mockingjay; they basically have to do anything for me. Right?
It takes a few minuets for me to figure out how the rooms are organized. Since I'm room A407, and he's D698 were seven floors away from each other. Too far.
I knock on the door lightly and then again harsher. "Peeta!" I call. The door swings open to a girl who immediately recognize.
"Katniss!" She gasps.
"Delly, what are you doing here?" She asks softly.
"I came to see Peeta. Where is he?" I push past her.
"Has in the bathroom, but you can't come in right now Katniss."
"Why" I ask curiously sitting on his bed.
"Because uhh..."
"When did everyone from twelve arrive here?" I ask politely.
"We were all watching the games in the square, your mother and prim were with Gales family and I. Prim saw you get attacked and I took her to the tiny house in the seam to calm her down. I had told Gale where I was going and didn't want to know how it would end. Prim was just about to fall asleep when everything shook, and I saw hundreds of people running towards the woods. Gale found us and his her and I in the woods. He made sure to get your bow, I didn't even know how your games ended. But someone had hinted that we should head in the direction of thirteen. And we walked for about a week living off of the things people killed on the way. When we for here they welcomed us with open arms."
