I wake peacefully. His arm draped over my bare torso, the blanket just barely covers our midsection. For half a second I want to stand and check on Rye, but then I remember he's with my mother. I sigh peacefully, closing my eyes again slowly. He still sleeps peacefully as I lay awake, unable to sleep. So, I stand careful not to wake him and make my way into the bathroom. I shower quickly then walk into the living room and kitchen area of our temporary house. I can see the ocean from our kitchen counter, the tide coming in and out. I have only seen the ocean in real life once, and that was in the quarter quell. This one is much more beautiful though, so natural. The water has a different shade then the quell's water. This water here is a mint green shade, while the water there was a deep blue.
I'm tired; probably from getting very little sleep last night. So I make some coffee, they have automatic brewers here. They make the coffee for you, all you have to do it put a round paper in it and coffee grounds in and and press start.
I finish making coffee, and just as I finding milk in the fridge; the Capitol tv emergency loop rings in my ears. The same one that rang when they thought we had died and president snow had spoken to us. Quickly I shut the door connecting the bedroom and the living room, I sit down on the edge of the couch's plush seat. A familiar face appears on screen. Caesar Flickerman. "Hello everyone, I am Caesar Flickerman. It has been made known that yet another rebel force is up and rising in numbers. They are highly against our president. We have word they work out of district seven, so if you or anyone you know lives in the district and feels threatened come to the Capitol. There we will house you, feed you, and protect you with our last dying breath. That will be all, thank you for your attention."
The screen goes blank as I lean back on the couch and my hands cover my face. I let out a shaky breath thinking of what another war could mean. Another rebel force? Another civil war? Our numbers are already thinned to the max from the first war, why would they try and fight so soon? Why?
My breaths become louder as everything visibly starts to shake. I stand rushing for the bedroom, there I take two of my pills. I go to turn around where I run into Peeta's body.
"Are you okay?" He asks holding my arms.
"N-No." I answer honestly; he holds me for fifteen minuets before he tries to speak again.
"Want to tell me what's wrong?" He asks calmly. I nod, take his hand and lead him into the living room. I sit down on the couch, turning on the television to the need channel where they should be showing the Capitol tv announcement. I watch as I find I was right and the announcement I just saw plays again, the words ringing through my brain.
He holds into my hand tight. "This isn't good." He says his voice piercing through my skin like bullets for some reason. "We can't find again!" He stands getting angry. "Why are the districts being so dumb? We finally have peace in our districts and they want to find again!" He yells outranged.
He sits down next to me taking my small hands in his. "Whatever happens, we stay here and brave it out. No fighting this time, got it?"
Usually I would have declined, told him there was no way I wouldn't fight. But I'm a mother now, and I'm also trying to have another child. I can't afford to die. "Okay." I nod. "I won't go." I say.
I won't go, unless it becomes personal.

The announcement plays the next day, and the day after that. It's our third day here and the message continues to play every half an hours. They've evacuated the entire district and directly connecting ones also. I guess the group is pretty serious.
Today I decided to walk to the store while Peeta was still in bed. The streets are made of cobblestone. People there all seem to remind me of Finnick. Golden hair and sea green eyes, toned bodies capable of killing.
I sidestep to avoid a playing child next to his mother on the sidewalk. "Excuse me." I smile at her. She gives me a death glare, doesn't reply. I shrug it off and continue to walk, I've made plenty of enemies during my time as mockingjay.
I reach the street corner, it's darker. I turn around and young man approaches me. He looks to be around my age. "Katniss." He smiles showing off perfect white, straight teeth. "How nice to see you again." He hugs me tight stuffing something into my hand and speaking softly. "Read it when your alone." He releases and smiles. "Hope to see you soon. "
I stand there shocked for a few seconds before darting into a small market. I sit down in the corner and open the note.
Meet at the dock, midnight, come alone.
~Right Arm.
My eyes dart around believing someone is watching me. I sigh when I find no one is, I stand rush from the market and back to our house. He's standing shirtless in the kitchen when I enter. "Hey, where'd you go?" He asks drinking from his mug.
"I just uh- went for a w-walk." I say stumbling on the words.
"Oh okay, anyways would you like to go to the beach today? The weathers perfect." He says, then he smiles. I swear his teeth sparkled.
"I'd love that, just give me a minuet or two to change." He nods and I walk into the bathroom, stuffing the note deep into my light jacket pocket. He'll never find it.
I dig through my suitcase, silently thanking Effie for making me by a bikini. It's a deep red color, flames drawn on it. Ironic I guess.
I pull on a long shirt and walk back to Peeta who's already ready. "Let's go." He smiles. I let him lead me down the path to the beach, it's empty. No one else is here. A fence divides our part from the public beach. I lay down a towel and put my bag on it. I sprawl out on the towel and sigh. "Really?" He groans. "We came to the beach and your just going to lay there?"
"For a few minuets yes, I'll get in the water when I get too hot." I say with a laugh.
He lets out an exaggerated sigh. "Fine." He plops down on his own towel.
"Fine." I mimic his tone before pulling down my sunglasses and closing my eyes. Then, I'm lifted into the air and my sunglasses fly off. We're moving fast as he rushes to the water. He doesn't stop until in fully emerged, then he drops me playfully. He turns to run away but I pull him under kissing him as I fall. "Fine." I whisper into his lips.
We both break into fire of laugher as he carries me back to my towel. He looks me dead in the eyes. "I love you Katniss Everdeen."
"I love you too." I smile.
"I'm glad we can be honest with each other, I believe it's the most important part of a healthy relationship."
I want to scream, ask him where that came from. But instead I stand rushing back into the house angry at myself.
For I have lied to him,
I am starting this marriage off with a lie.
