"Kendrick, maupo ka." Tito Bille pointed out the vacant space beside him so I sat there. Then a maid placed two cups on the center table. "Magkape ka muna hijo." He said.

"Thank you Tito." I took the cup and poured a little bit of milk, and some sugar. I stirred it and turned to look at Tito Billie. "So Tito, what's wrong? May problema po ba?"

He exhaled sharply and looked at me intently. "Hijo tapatin mo nga ako... may relasyon pa ba kayo ni Bianca?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Sa ngayon po hindi na kami."

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" his forehead creased. So he doesn't know?

"Tito, hindi po sinabi ni Bianca sa inyo ang deal?" I responded.

"Anong deal?" he retorted back. I took a sip of my coffee and sighed. So she didn't tell her father about the deal we made.

"We made a deal Tito for our relationship. Kung magiging successful kami pareho sa businesses na nakaatas sa'min, we can go back to each other. But if one of us fails, then we're truly over." I told him. Tito Billie looks confused.

"She made that deal or you did?" he asked.

I nodded. "She did." I replied. He fell silent and he looks like he's in a deep thought.

He looked at me and gave a quick smile. "Hijo, pasensya ka na kung nadamay ka pa dito. Hindi naman ako kontra sa relasyon niyo, I'm just concerned about her publicity. Pero nangyari na ang nangyari, kaya sana kahit hindi natupad ang deal niyo, 'wag mo sanang pabayaan ang anak ko. Wag mo siyang sukuan." He said.

"Tito, I was offering her for help. Pero tinatanggihan niya." I told him, he just stared at me waiting for what will I say. "Gusto ko sana mag-invest Tito, pero ayaw ni Bianca."

"Hmm. Do you have any idea why?" I shook my head and took a sip of my coffee. I placed the cup back on the table after drinking. "Pero hijo, ayos sa akin 'yun. R&R really needs it, pero baka naman kailangan mo, I mean you're like starting again on Frost Hotel."

I grinned. "I'm doing well, Tito which is why I will be able to help, if only she would let me."

"Baka kasi nahihiya siya Kendrick. But I'm willing to accept your offer, kahit anong tulong okay sa akin. Ayoko rin naman sisihin si Bianca sa nangyayari, I just gave her a chance to show her skills. Magaling siya pero siguro sadyang nasa isang tight spot lang ang R&R." he told me. I just looked at him and I noticed that his expression is a worried.

"Sige Tito, I'll send someone to your office tomorrow to discuss. Pero please Tito, 'wag niyo na lang po sabihin kay Bianca." I requested. I don't want her to know about this.

The next day, I spent my whole morning attending the meetings at my hotel. I'm very happy at the results, more guests are checking in, there are lots of positive reviews, and it's different from how dad runs it.

If you are wondering on how he runs his businesses, he's more on the strict side. If the employee committed a mistake, he fires that person on one snap. He's a perfectionist, and he really turned his attention to the company. He cared for the company more than his family, and I'm guessing that's what caused my mother's death.

I know he loved mom but when he told himself that love makes you weak, that's where he became ruthless.

And I don't want to be like that.
