After I went to Bianca's unit, I immediately drove back to Frost GOC. I still have a lot of meetings to attend to. Dad really has a lot of things planned up.

But the truth is, I don't understand most of these meetings. Everything is a blur to me, how could dad trust me with this?

The day is almost over and I feel like a wreck. I am here at my dad's office which is now mine. I rested my head on my swivel chair and closed my eyes. I just want to rest and wish this day would end soon. I got startled from the knock coming from the door. It opened and it was my secretary, Jeanine.

"Mr. Frost, you have a visitor." Then a middle aged man entered my office. I stood up.

"Good afternoon, Mr.-" I paused because I didn't know who he was.

"Mr. Lopez." He added and we shook hands.

"Please. Have a seat." I offered and he sat down. "So, Mr. Lopez... What brings you here?" I formally asked. I sense a bad vibe around him. Sino ba siya?

"Well, mukhang hindi mo ako kilala so I'll cut straight to the chase. I'm Sandro Lopez, your father and I we're old friends but it came to an end when he started Frost GOC." He started, he doesn't sound friendly. I just stared at him intently. "We we're business partners, and he took it all for himself. Leaving me out of the picture."

"And your point is?" I cut in.

"I'm going to bring you down, Kendrick Van Frost. Just like how your Dad did. I will take everything away from you." He said in a low voice. I smirked and stood up.

""Yan lang ba ang pinunta mo dito, Mr. Lopez? To taunt me?" I made sure he heard the amusement in my voice. I smiled playfully and leaned over. "Well, guess what, hindi ako natatakot sa'yo."

He stood up and gave me a meaningful smile. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Mr. Frost."

Then he stepped out of the room.

I closed my fists, I feel nervous and afraid at the same time. I don't want to lose everything. I can't afford to lose it.

THE NEXT DAY

Today's a very busy day for me. I have to attend a lot of meetings. I have already finished dressing up, suit and tie. I feel so formal and professional, which is not like me. It's a new feeling. Right now, I'm on my way to the parking lot to go to the office.

I took my phone and called Bianca. It has been always my habit to call her every time I'm on my way to Frost GOC.

[Hello? Keeennn!!] she called out sweetly. I can't help but smile. I can imagine what she looks like.

"Good morning, my Skye. Where are you?" I greeted sweetly.

[Andito na ako sa R&R Fleetwood branch, I am a bit upset.] she said on the other line. My forehead creased.

"Bakit naman?" I asked.

[Everything's not going the way I wanted. Puro fail. I'm mad.] I can hear disappointment in her voice.

"Awww, hush now love. Just focus, magiging okay din yan." I cheered her up. I wish I could kiss or hug her to make her feel happy.

[Thank you Kendrick. Just hearing your voice calms my nerves. Anyway, nasa office ka na?]
