[Bianca's POV]

Papa closed the door shut when Kendrick left. Humalukipkip ako at tumitig kay Papa. He gave me an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry hija." He told me. "I know you're not truly happy with this marriage. Alam ko naman kung gaano mo kamahal si Kendrick kaya ko siya pinapunta dito."

Hindi ako makasagot. Papa is right. Hindi naman talaga ako masaya eh, but I have to endure it. Para naman din ito sa lahat, mawawala na ang gulo. R&R will be back on track as well as Kendrick's Frost Hotel.

Nanatili lang nakatitig si Papa sa akin. Waiting for what I will say so I forced a smile.

"Yes, I love him Papa but this is my final decision. I have to do this Papa." Matigas kong wika. "Please Papa. Let this go. The guests are waiting." I told him. Hindi na siya nagsalita muli, instead he gave me a hug. Mahigpit niya akong niyakap.

"Mahal kita anak." He said softly.

"I love you too Papa." I responded.

Matapos namin mag-usap ni Papa, iniwanan niya na ako sa kwarto at sinabing pupuntahan lang si Tito Sandro Lopez para humingi ng paumanhin sa pagkadelay ng kasal. Muli akong humarap sa salamin.

Upon seeing my reflection, I still can't believe that I'm here. Pakakasalan ko ang taong hindi ko naman talaga mahal. Pumayag ako sa isang fixed marriage na kahit sino ay ayaw ng ganun.

I sighed heavily. Tumalikod na ako sa salamin at tumungo sa pinto. I want to get this over with. I twisted the door knob. Bumukas ang pinto at bahagya akong napaatras sa nakita ko.

It's Kendrick, standing in front of me looking straight into my eyes.

I fell silent and nervous. Gusto ko siyang itulak pero hindi ko magawa. Now I'm stuck in a staring game with him. I examined his face, wala pa rin naman siyang pinagbago except for his hair. It's brushed up and I have to admit, he looks better with that style.

Lumakas ang kabog ng dibdib ko. As he walks closer to me, I take a step back until the door is shut again and we're both alone in this room. Kinakabahan ako. Naka-aircon naman ang kwarto pero pakiramdam ko ay pagpapawisan ako. I inhaled sharply and crossed my arms.

"Why are you still here Kendrick? 'Di ba sabi ko—" he put his index finger in front of my mouth. Agad ko namang itinulak iyon. He gave me a pained expression. Looking at him breaks my heart even more. Nag-iinit na ang sulok ng mga mata ko.

"Please don't marry him." he pleaded. Lumuhod naman siya sa harapan ko. Pinipigilan ko ang mga luha kong tumulo. I took a deep breath and gave him my coldest stare.

"I can't do that. Just leave now, Kendrick. My wedding's about to start." malamig kong saad. Tumayo siya at tinitigan ako.

"No Bianca!" he raised his voice which shaken me. Bihira siya magtaas ng boses. "Alam kong hindi ka magiging masaya kung itutuloy mo pa 'to! Alam mo sa sarili mo na dapat tayo ang magkasama. Sabihin mo sa'kin na mali ako at aalis ako dito." hinawakan niya ang dalawang kamay ko. "Please Bianca, mahal mo ako diba? Run away with me, right now." His voice almost broke and his eyes are begging me.

I can easily give in to his look but I kept myself stiff. Pumiglas ako sa hawak niya at matiim siyang tinitigan. "No. My decision is final Ken. I'm marrying Steven." matigas kong wika sa kanya.
