"Saan naman ang party? And what's the occassion?" V asked.

"In our hotel of course. It's Frost Hotel's anniversary." tugon ni Ken. His dad owns a lot of businesses. Hotels, bars, and restaurants. 

"Wow, really? So ipapamana na ba sayo ni Tito Lucas yan?" ako naman ang nagtanong. 

His face became serious. "I don't know. Actually, I'm persuading him to invest on the vacant building across the hotel." he said casually. Wow, Kendrick's changing. Dati hindi siya nagsasalita about sa mga business thingy. And now? I smiled in amusement.

"Why are you smiling like that?" tanong niya.

"Well, first time ko yatang marinig na may interest ka sa business. All I ever heard from you was girls, booze and pervy stuff." sagot ko sa kanya. Ngumisi naman siya.

"We'll graduate soon. Siyempre I have to put interest in it. Dad might not give me my part if I stay like that." nagtatagalog si Ken! I think he's really serious about this.

"Let me guess, bar ang itatayo mo dun." saad ni V.

"Hmm, yeah." 

"Sabi na eh. Bro, even in business, bar parin?" sabi ni Ollie. Tumawa naman si Ken.

"Hey, what's wrong with bars? It's so fun." bakas ang excitement sa mukha ni V. Palibhasa party girl kasi tong babaeng to.

"Well, anyway be there later okay?" tumango naman kaming tatlo as an answer. I glanced at my watch and we only have 10 minutes left. Nagretouch lang kami ni V ng make-up and nagsimula ng lumakad papunta sa next class namin.

Pagdating namin sa room, nagbubulungan nanaman ang mga kablock namin. Siguro nalaman na nila yung yogurt incident. I smiled bitterly. Lumapit naman ang minions ko, dalawa lang sila. Hmm, I need another minion.

"Mich, Claire. Find a replacement for Steph. Then I'll select tomorrow. Kuha kayo ng 3 candidates." I ordered. Yes, pinagpipilian ko talaga. I base it depending on the girl's profile. Bibigyan ako ni Mich and Claire ng dossier of each one. [a/n: a dossier is a collection of documents about the person]

20 minutes na ang nakalipas and it looks like wala kaming professor for today. Nag-attendance nalang kami. I glanced at my watch and it's already 1:50 PM. Ayoko pa umuwi. I glanced at V who is busy taking selfies. So vain.

"Hey V, mall tayo? Let's find an outfit for later." aya ko sa kanya.

"Okay." tumayo na kami and pumunta na sa R&R Mall. Dumiretso kami agad sa favorite naming boutique which is The Ramp Crossings. Para mamaya, I picked out a black lace long sleeve blouse and a striped pencil skirt. Si V naman, she can't live without a LBD [little black dress]. Namili pa kami ng ibang damit dun. We both realized na 3 hours na pala kaming nasa mall kaya we went to my unit to prep for the party.

It's already 7PM when we arrived here at the Frost Hotel. The party is actually 6PM but of course, V and I are fashionably late. Dumiretso na kami agad sa bar lounge ng hotel because dun yung venue ng party.

The bar is exquisite. Simple lang pero may dating. Everything around the bar lounge has a touch of gold. Pagkapasok mo, bubungad sa'yo ang isang pabilog na bar counter where the bartenders are. Mini-tables are also around it. 

Sumalubong agad sa'min si Ollie and may kaakbay siyang two girls sa magkabila niyang side. They are his victims for tonight.

"Hey girls." bati niya sa'min.
