I stood there, in full control of Frisk's body. Sans was ready to fight and I was ready to kill him. Music started up, and he started singing as I did.
"It's a beautiful day outside.

I laughed.
"Turn around kid? Hah! It'd be a crime,
If I had to give up all the power that I'll gain from you,

He tossed out attacks as I swung my knife.

I jumped from his attacks, listening to his remarks and laughs. I taunted him about his lost family, friends, everyone. He got angrier as I got cockier. Eventually the lyrics came back as we battled.

I hit him a few times and he threw me across the room.

He threw me down as I got back up, laughing.
"I made your friends all disappear,
But everything they cared about is why you're here.

As the tune faded out, I was ready to land the final blow.
But something came over me, and I stepped back. I sang another version of the verses in a higher, sadder voice.

I never wanted to play by all the rules
A knife in hand, I'm playing out the part of the fool

With this, tears dripped down my face. I whispered an apology to Sans and stabbed his chest. My old self, the murderous one, came back with a screeching laughter and an aching pain.
I had realized I didn't want to kill any of them.
