A/N: Let me tell you a short story. Promise, short lang 'to.

So, everything happens when you're awake at three in the morning and you want to close your eyes but your eyes say no. I opened my e-mail account (the one I use for Wattpad stuffs) and read comments. Sa huling chapter ng story na 'to ako napadpad. And I noticed a comment very familiar to me which was posted 8 months ago. Grabe. I told her that I'll post this special chapter since hinahanap nya ang nawalang friendship ni KC at Alex. I felt guilty. Minsan naaalala ko 'to pero mas madalas na nalilimutan ko. Hinanap ko yung unang draft ko. I can't find it. So, I channeled my inner self na magsipag ng updates dahil buong 2016 nga akong wala. So, ito ang kinalabasan nya. Hope you like it. Specially dedicated to the one who requested this almost a year ago (Can't remember kung almost one year na nga). Better late than never. Haha.

KC has always been her girl pal. They grew up together and shared everything together. Sabi nga nila, they are definitely sisters from another mother. Their friendship was something they know, would last forever.

Sa kanilang apat (KC, Jane, Clarissa, Alex) si KC ang pinaka 'bargas' as the gang would dubbed it. Maingay, mataray, makulit at matapang. That's how KC is to them. But Alex knows more than that. Behind that image is a soul full of doubt and insecurities. She vowed to protect KC from everything. That's why she chose to be the strong one sa kanilang dalawa. She didn't mind doing the 'protect me' role. She was happy doing that.

Una nyang naramdaman ang failed mission nya to protect KC when her friend cried over her first heartbreak. It was devastating for her. KC cried for three hours. Halos naubos na nga nito ang tatlong batch ng tissue paper na hinanda nya. Pulang pula na ang ilong nya at walang tigil ang pag agos ng luha sa mga mata ng kaibigan nya. She hated seeing her like that. She listened to KC's rants for three hours. Kahit paulit ulit lang namang sinasabi ng kaibigan nya kung gaano kagago ang boyfriend (ex na that time) nya. She would just listen to her and let her cry. Wala na syang magagawa. She can't protect her always. She can't protect her especially with heart breaks.

After three days, okay na lang kaibigan nya. Kilala nya ito. Iiiyak lang yan tapos, tapos na. She'll act as if nothing happened. That's what she liked about KC. Kapag iniyakan na nya, tapos na. Hindi na nya iiyakan pa ulit.

KC had a fair share of boys. Umabot pa sya sa point na may boy toy sya for the week. But Alex didn't mind it. As long as hindi sinisira ng kaibigan nya ang kanyang buhay, it's okay for her. She's used to KC having fun.

But her friend changed when she met EJ. Naging boyfriend to ng kaibigan nya and she couldn't be any happier for her. Pakiramdam nya, nahanap na ng kaibigan nya ang para sa kanya. The relationship lasts for long. But not that long. Sya ang unang nasaktan ng malaman nya ang katotohanan na niloloko lang ni EJ si KC. She was there. She witnessed it firsthand. At hindi sya makapapayag na hindi nya nagagantihan ang lalaking yun. So, she did what she does best. Ang mag eskandalo at ang mam bully ng tao. All smiles sya paglabas ng restaurant. She felt great about that slap. Sana pala mas nilaksan nya.

Her friend was devastated again. Gusto man nyang akuin ang sakit na nararamdaman nito, hindi pwede. It was hers. She needs to feel it to know it. Dinamayan na lang nya ang kaibigan nya. Masaya man sya sa love life nya, hindi nya magawang maging masaya ng tuluyan kasi nasasaktan ang kaibigan nya.
