I was sat in the library looking for ways to stop Esther when a knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. I looked up and saw Elijah standing looking perfect as always in his suit, his eyes shined with something which I could not distinguished.
'' Elijah.''
'' Katerina.'' Elijah replied as he walked into the room, closing the door behind him.
'' What can I do for you ??'' I asked as I placed the book in my hand onto the wooden table.
'' Katerina, I wanted you to know that my feelings for you never left. Even when you've ran all those years ago. I've never felt like this in a long time and I have never been the one to open up because when I do I lose people but with you it's different because I'm not afraid to open up to you , I know your going to be here and I'm going to protect even if you don't feel the same way as I do.'' He answered, my mouth was left hanging open due to the shock, he loved me. Elijah Mikaelson loves me. I shut my mouth and crashed my lips to his. He kissed back instantly, our lips moved perfectly in sync like they were made for each other. I pulled away for some air and said
'' I love you.''
'' I love you too.'' He replied and kissed my forehead.
