I stared out at the crowd

And smiled to myself.

I really did love this. Being apart of something bigger than me.

Bringing relief to those who needed it.

"Hey guys remember me?"

the crowd just roared.

I smiled even more.

"You weren't expecting me huh? Well I have a confession the guys made me do this. To play their encore song, and do it for Gerard. So after them begging I agreed to."

Gerard just stood there and smiled at me. and the guys stood next to him giving him pats on the back.

"This song I wrote a while back ago, it just finally finished it a couple weeks ago. Its personal to me. I hope you like it."

I began to play the first chords.

took a deep breath and sang it

"When I was younger I saw my daddy cry and curse at the wind.

He broke his own heart and I watched as he tried to reassemble it.

And my mama swore that she would never let herself forget.

and that was the day that I promised I'd never would sing of love if it does not exist.

But darling you are the only exception.

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception"

to my surprise Ray, and Frank had their acoustics and began to play with me and Mikey strapped on his bass and joined in.

Gerard grabbed a microphone and sang along.

And bob had a small drum set out up.

"maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul that love never lasts

and we got to find other ways to make it alone

or keep a straight face

and I've always lived like this keeping a comfortable distance

and up until now I have sworn that I am content with loneliness

cause none of it was ever worth the risk"

I felt so at peace, like this is where I belonged with them.

Singing with them.

I love these guys to death.

"well you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

I've got a tight grip on reality

but I can't let go of whats in front of me here

I know you are leaving in the morning when you wake up

leave me with some kind of proof that its not a dream

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception"

he sang the last part with me

he just looked at me.

His eyes sparkled with such happiness

"you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

you are the only exception

and I'm on my way to believing

oh I'm on my way to believing"

the crowd cheered when the song was over.

I didn't realized I was crying until I tasted the saltiness of my tears while kissing Gerard.

After we just stood there holding each other and soon enough the place cleared out and the guys went to sign autographs.

we were alone in a huge stadium.

we were young, in love and couldn't be any happier.

he broke the silence first.

"I have something for you babe."

"What is it?"

"Close your eyes."

"o-kay"

I closed my eyes

"Open."

I opened them to find him holding a velvet box.

"Gee is that?"

"Its not an engagement ring sugar."

"Oh okay that makes me feel better. What is it?"

"Its a commitment ring baby."

"And what are you trying to say Gee?"

"This ring will show you that I am always going to be committed to you. I will always love you, be here for you, never forget about you. I will always be yours."

"Oh Gee. This...this means a lot to me."

he took the ring and and slipped in on my ring finger.

I smiled and blushed.

"And look, I got one for myself too."

"Its like we were meant to be."

"Yeah we were."

"Here...I want you to have this."

I took my charm bracelet and broke off two charms and grabbed an extra chain I had on.

Slipped the charms on the chain and gave it to him.

"Its something thats a part of me that I want you to have. My dad gave me this the day after me and Matt went to our first show."

"Oh sugar. I will never take it off."

"You better not."

"we should head back we have a big day tomorrow, I am meeting your parents."

"Yeah they are so excited to meet you."

"They are?"

"Yeah! Come babe."

we walked out hand in hand and walked outside to the chilly weather.

"Oh gosh I didn't realized it was going to be this cold."

"Where is your jacket Bells?"

"I couldn't find it."

"here."

he slipped off his favorite leather jacket and gave it to me.

"I want you to have this too. It will give you luck baby."

"Oh thanks gee."

"You're welcome. It looks good on you."

"I look good in everything sugar."

"wow hahaha...but its true."

we walked into the bus the guys were celebrating the last show and me and Gee got some soda and joined the guys.

safe to say the guys partied until they couldn't stand anymore.
