Tuesday morning,10 am.
Me:"My head feels much better now,but my body still hurts.."
Before getting out of bed,I took some water and a pill on my nightstand to help me feel better.
Me:"Ugh,I hate taking pills.Hope I'll have enough strength to go out with the girls today."
I got out of bed,took a shower,brushed my teeth,wore a sweatshirt with some sweatpants on.As for my hair,I put it in a messy bun.
As I was wearing makeup to cover up my bruises on my face,I hear 2 people yelling downstairs.I put my foundation brush down and quickly went downstairs to see who was arguing and I was shocked to see:
Mom:"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE,PATRICK !!!"
Patrick:"No!!We need to talk!!
Mom:"We don't need to talk,I've already heard everything!!
If you're wondering who patrick is,well he's my step dad.I hated him since the day we've made eye contact.He looked so scary and dangerous that every night I would beg my mom for her to sleep with me so she wouldn't get hurt.
Me:"PATRICK,GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER!!! (as i punched him on the face,leaving him on the floor with a bloody nose)
Mom:"Oh my!!Thank you sweetie!!
Me:"No problem mom,I knew he was trouble anyway."
I soon called the police so they could arrest him once and for all.The police arrived..
Police:"Good morning ma'am,I believe you gave us a call?
Mom:"Yes,my husband wanted to hurt me but my daughter punched him in the face before he could do anything."
The police arrested him and said he'll be in jail for 1-2 years.Because not only he's been wanting to hurt my mom but he would kill someone every night because of his liquor so it made me even more scared of him.Every night,mom,Aaron and I would lock ourselves in our bedroom until morning.
Me:"I'm so happy he's in jail now,he deserved it
Mom:I know sweetie,and I'm sorry for marrying him.He hurted our family..it's all my fault.. (tears went down her face)
I gave her a tight hug and whispered:"No mom,it wasn't your fault..(as I kissed cheek).
