~HARRY'S POV~
I make my way down the aisle, the flight attendant flashing a smile at me as I walk past her. "Have a nice day," she wishes me.
"You too," I nod, returning the smile.
As I walk down the corridor and into the airport I see a group of girls crowding in one corner behind the belt. I don't know why I thought no one would know about my arrival, the fans seem to find out everything, it's always intrigued me.
I stop to take a few photos with them and hug a few, before being ushered along by Patrick, one of the guards. It's been a long trip from America to London, I've done it many times before but without the boys to joke around with it seems to go forever.
I load my suitcase into the boot, refusing to let Patrick do it for me, and hop in the car after.
We arrive at my mums and house in Richmond, and I get out of the car as Patrick beats me to the boot.
"Cheers mate," I thank him, taking the suitcase and walking up the path. I knock on the door and wait for someone to answer. The door opens a few seconds later and I see my mother standing there with a smile on her face as she looks me up and down. "Harry!" She yells, enveloping me in a hug.
"Hey mum. How's it been?" I ask returning the hug.
"Good but I've been missing you!" We both pull away from the long embrace.
"You too. Where's Rob?" I ask.
"Oh he's at work. Come in and tell me about your tour! "
"Can I put these in my old room?" I ask, gesturing to my suitcase and bag.
"Of course."
I walk down the familiar hallway and to my old bedroom, which looks basically the same. A few photos of my old school mates, one of the boys and I on X Factor, the same blue and white striped bed sheets that mum always seemed to have on when I visited.
I place my bags on the floor and meet my mum back in the lounge room. It feels so good to be back at home in a familiar place after travelling for so long.
"So how'd it go?" She asks eagerly, wiping down the bench with a wet cloth, before soaking it in the sink.
"It wasn't all that different from every other tour really. I mean it was amazing, so many arenas and so many people, I think the fans got even more wild each time." I recount, remembering the huge arenas filled with thousands and thousands of screaming fans. The feeling is electrifying on stage with so many people screaming for you and your music.
"Oh well you've always been a lady's man," she comments, winking at me, which I return with a chuckle.
"So what are we going to do with the two weeks that I have off?"
"I was wondering if tomorrow you would be fine to have brunch here with some old friends that have just moved back to England. I ran into Railene in the shops the other day, it was quite strange actually but lovely to see her again, I used to be great friends with her many years ago." She explains, slightly directing it away from the question.
"Yeah sure, sounds good." I get up and make my way into the kitchen as mum continues her usual chatter.
"I was hoping your sister would be able to make it too but she's stuck at work tomorrow. Are you hungry?" She yells out.
"I'm starving actually." I reply, returning with a packet of chips. "I think I'm going to go visit the bakery, would you like to join?"
"I would love to." She replies with a smile, and gets up to grab her bag. I can tell my mum loves it when I come home, I think she misses not having Gemma and I around, although she sees a whole lot more of Gemma than she does of me.
