Sunday, 19th June 2016 - Home of the Small Dog

Dear Diary

Normally on Sundays, I wake up after a nice sleep in. Today though, I was woken up much more early than I was used to by a small yapping dog jumping on my bed. Delighted, I quickly awoke fully and greeted the dog, patting his neck.

I quickly got dressed and consumed the early morning food. I had reserved today for doing school work, but that was before I knew of this dog. I had rearranged my plans to suit this new dog, and took him shopping for some dog toys and furniture. We walked to the nearest pet shop with a large stack of money and spent several hours browsing it for everything that I would need to keep him as happy as possible. The dog seemed quite pleased with a squeaky rabbit, so I purchased that for him, along with a cushion and a small blanket to sleep on. With his conformts taken care of, I next checked the food aisle with him, attempting to find the perfect food for him.

A helpful assistant told me that a certain brand was best for my type of dog, so I purchased a large bag of that. Alongside these, I also got him a water and food bowl.

When we finally returned home, it was almost dark. Neither myself nor my dog had eaten since the morning, so I made myself a sandwich and used some of the new dog food on the dog. We enjoyed our food.

Even through the entire day, I still hadn't thought of a name which would suit him well enough.
