Saturday, 22nd October 2016 - What Would They Like?

Dear Diary

Very early in the morning, Prey and Intruder finally confirmed what they were doing today. They had decided to go to the local park and have a picnic. It was a very sunny day, and that would prove to be a very good choice. The advantage of that was that I would not need to break into a place to follow them on their date.

I arrived at the park before them. They had not set a place for where they would eat the food, so I avoided remaining in one location. I walked around until they came.

When they did arrive, they set out a mat onto a grassy patch in the shade so that they were able to rest against a tree. I then chose a seat which would allow me to watch them.

They ate the food while talking to each other.

While I was watching them, I began to wonder what type of partner would convince the two of them to leave their relationship. Which person would Intruder like more than Prey? Which person would Prey like more than Intruder? Of course, finding somebody that Prey would like more than Intruder could force him to like that person more than he would like me, causing the entire cycle to start over again? The initial answer to that seemed obvious to me. I was going to need to introduce myself to him as the perfect choice. I was going to need to actually talk to Prey, befriend him and eventually show him that I was the better option. At the same time I would need to find another good person for Intruder. Finding a real person seemed like a definite option, but that seemed far too awkward. Simply creating an entirely fictional person seemed far more logical, and would mean that I would not actually need to talk to more people. This seemed to be the best option. I knew that it would take several weeks to create a person which would be super believable.

I would also begin to message the couple as themselves, saying a few interesting things to help drive them apart. How could this plan not work?

After Prey and Intruder finished their food they packed up the picnic things and walked around the park, holding hands all the time.

Eventually they left to go home.

So did I.
