Sunday, 9th October 2016 - Prelude to Birthday
Dear Diary
My birthday was on Tuesday. Due to the large amounts of family and friends that I had, all of the celebrations were going to take a week and a half. Several of the more obscure family members came over, and we enjoyed some food which had been made by my mother.
As usual, her cooking was very good and enjoyable. For some reason I was not able to quickly escape to my room after dinner. Everybody tried to talk to me about how my last year had been, what I was planning on doing with my life next year. As I obviously had made no plans at all, I was required to make things up on the fly. Most of the people there seemed satisfied with the answer of school. That one was very easy to dish out. After all, what would happen which would prevent me from going to school next year?
