Monday, 17th October 2016 - Exams Beginneth

Dear Diary

I woke up late today. It was almost as if I did not actually want to go to school. The first reason was of course that it was school. The main reason, however, was due to the exams. While I definitely did not think myself prepared for them, it did mean I would be able to see Prey for quite a few hours. Although that did also indicate that I would be forced to see Intruder. The good comes with the extremely bad then.

There were two exams on today. The first one was being completed by the entire grade. It was comprised of a series of essays and took several hours. All of the students completed it in the same hall. Just like with the last set of exams, I tried to find a spot which was near enough to Prey to watch him complete his exam which would not make it obvious that I was doing so. I appeared to be successful, as I found a good spot. Unfortunately, I had far less time available to look at him than what I had in previous exams.

After the first exam, I had several hours before the following one. I was not allowed to leave the school in between them. We were supposed to use the time to study, although there did not appear to be much of that going on.

Mouse, Bear and I met up to talk about the exams. They felt very confident with how well they had done. I did not feel quite as confident as them.

The second exam was much of the same as the first. It continued to prevent me from spending large amounts of time staring aimlessly at Prey.

After far too long, the exam was over.

Everybody went home to study for the next one.
