Saturday, 18th June 2016 - Arrival of the Small Dog

Dear Diary

When I woke up, I felt much better than what I did yesterday. I was still stiff, but moving about was a lot easier. When I got to the living room I was introduced to a small, dog-like creature sitting in front of the chair which I normally use. My parents quickly told me that this was the reward thing, they had been thinking about it for some time, and this seemed to be an excellent time to do it.

The dog was very small. It seemed to have an overabundance of white fur which came out of every part of the dog. I reached down to pat him, and felt that the fur was such as soft and fluffy as it looked to be. He looked like a white fluffy ball, and he was absolutely adorable.

I inquired about the dog's name, and I was informed that the choice was mine. I was very pleased with this new dog, and did what I could to make him happy.

Every now and then, he would make a short and sharp yapping noise, which, like the rest of him, was extremely cute. I spent much of the day playing with him and taking him for walks. He was amazing.

Unfortunately, a name for this ball of happiness continued to elude me.
