Dear Diary

The whole grade arrived at school early. It seemed that everyday had made it to school on time. However, a few people who had made it clear that they did not want to come had not come.

I quickly found Bear and Mouse. To my disappointment, Prey and Intruder had also quickly found themselves. Already they were spending the camp together.

The bus ride took about an hour. I sat next to Bear, with Mouse in front of us. We spent large amounts of time talking.

Eventually we arrived at the location.

All of the students were forced out of the bus. We collected all of our belongings and went to our rooms. I was with Bear.

We very quickly surveyed our rooms and chose our beds. The rooms themselves were very simple, only containing four bunk beds. It was quite warm. The carpets were blue.

The activities then started. Technically, this camp was a study camp, and the school was only too keen to cash in on this. Practically every 'activity' was just a class. We were given papers and exercises to complete for each subject. It was like a normal school day with a new work environment.

We were served food often. I found it to be quite pleasing. Bear didn't quite agree. Mouse was content to eat whatever was put in front of him.

After dinner, a few of the teachers tried to put a movie on. Nobody was interested in watching it.

Prey and Intruder had spent almost the entire day together. Between activities and meals, I kept on losing track of them. They must have worked out the best hiding spots.

Eventually we were forced to sleep. All of the people in my cabin kept on talking.
