Dear Diary

It seems that even by body knew that today was the last day of holidays, for it let me sleep in several hours longer than I did normally. Not even the combined might of Biscuit and an open window woke me. Of course, today was also the day that I had left all of my schoolwork to do, and those hours spent sleeping were precious hours that I needed.

I raced up, quickly eating some food as fast as I could. I had a large pile of homework, and knew that I had left it far later than I should have. That was how I spent most of the day, hunched over my desk, writing whatever half decent things came to mind. I knew that it wasn't my best work, but it didn't matter.

Hours later, I finally finished all of the work. I knew that I had gotten a lot done, but it really felt that I had wasted a full day of my now complete holidays. Reluctantly, I went to be sleep, ready to go to school again. It was an excuse to see him every day after all.
