Wednesday, 28st September 2016 - Jersey Day
Dear Diary
It was the 'jersey day' today. It was an attempt to raise money for one of the numerous fundraising organizations which already existed. The participants of the day were supposed to pay money to wear a sport jerseys. I felt confident that at least four people would not be wearing one, myself, Bear, Mouse and Prey. None of us had an interest in sport. We may even be the only people without a fancy shirt.
Bear and Mouse walked in together, and just as I had predicted, they were wearing their normal school uniforms. This was very rare though. I kept an eye out for Prey by searching for other people in school uniform and then checking their face. However, I was unable to see him this way.
Eventually I broadened my search, skipping the uniforms and going straight to faces. I saw him very quickly after this. But, he was wearing a sport jersey. Why would he be doing that? Sure, he certainly enjoyed sport, and played it weekly for fun. But the shirt that he was wearing us for a professional team. He never liked any of those before, why would he change now? Later, I discovered why.
Intruder was wearing a similar shirt, however it was smaller. Did Intruder do this to him? Had she changed him so much? And if she had changed him, was he still perfect? Even if they broke up, and Prey eventually made the right choice, would part of her still live on through him? It was a worrisome thought. They would obviously need to break up as soon as possible.
