Saturday, 1st October 2016 - The Carnival
Dear Diary
There was a local carnival in town. It had many things there. There were many stalls and rides, with a giant circus tent in the middle which was right next to a Ferris wheel. This was the location of Prey and Intruder's latest date. I felt confident that I would be able to 'borrow' their phones for a while and replace them with the SIM cards that Mouse had presented me with. The carnival appeared to be free to enter, but extremely expensive to actually do anything there. I entered as it was cheap. As usual, I was not sure as to what time the would actually show up, so I spent the entire day there.
The arrived at some point in the afternoon. Most of the time that Prey and Intruder spent at the festival, they were holding hands and standing very close to each other. They purchased each other things and quite often stopped to start kissing. This continued to be most disturbing. Eventually, they went to a show at the circus tent. This was a perfect opportunity for me to replace the SIM cards in the show. In theory, the show should be so good that they would not be paying attention to the phones inside their bags.
Prey paid for the tickets and lead Intruder inside, taking their seats. I declined to do this and instead waited to sneak in after the show started. While it meant that I would need to wait a few minutes, it was much cheaper. After all, Prey was supposed to be paying for me to go to events like this.
After hearing that the show had begun I snuck into the giant tent. It was very dark inside, so I felt confident that nobody would have been able to see me sneak in. Prey's face was difficult to spot inside the tent, but not impossible. Within a few moments, I had found them. Luckily, there were no people in the rows behind them. By paying at the door at the late time that they had, they had received a spot quite close to the back.
It was almost too easy to take out their phones and replace it with the cards. I quickly checked to see if it was working and was pleased to see that it was. Mouse had come through again very well. He was extremely effective at these sort of things. I found a new spot to sit and started to read through the messages. Many of the messages ranged from friend-like behaviour, all the way to lovely dove-y messages which I was supposed to be receiving.
When the show was over I quickly left, going home. Now that I was able to go through all of the content that they had both sent and received on all forms of social networking I had many things to go through.
